Thanks nigel but ian directed me to vinnies youtube page, some amazing small tractors there especially when you know they are made from spare parts and scrap.
-
Nice pics, have you got a picture of the scale MF1200/1500 seen in the 3rd to last picture?
-
Some interesting lots there, any prices?
-
-
Yes you might be a bit late but thanks anyway
-
Thanks guys for the quick identification.
-
No it's not flail, it's a reel cutter.
-
Anyone know the make and model of this please, I would like to do a bit of research before I decide to buy it or not.
-
I would be very surprised if an actual machine had survived, I can't see that they sold in any quantity.
-
V belt on ebay at 144 inch just on a quick look so probably can go longer.
-
Not horticultural, so not sure if it should be on the list, but definitely an old machine, advert in a magazine dated 1919. I thought it quite interesting.
-
Also an advert in the 1960 C.G.A. book
-
That's a nice bit of kit, sorry cant help with the maker though.
-
On the last picture there is a mower called the Little Willie which I have never heard of.
-
Paul, a few pictures from the 56 CGA Annual Price book which arrived today.
-
Is the idea for machines we own or just to name machines with each letter?
-
Thank you Karl, afraid my anzani easimow is at the back of the shed, will have to dig it out
-
From what I can find out on the net the vice is from the 50's, also it is cast steel not cast iron like most vices.
-
Hi Paul, thank you very much, yes the site has a downloads section but I have not used it so not sure how it works.. I have sent you a pm.
-
Sorry I have duplicated a post but I thought it would be better here.
Another tool (well part of a very big tool). Anyone know what this is off? A clue is I work in a quarry and dug it out of some old backfill, it is also nearly upside down to how it would have been seen in use, it stands about 3 feet all.
-
Nice pictures, the GT6 looks especially well.
-
Yes it is a corner clamp, the 2 circular parts in the middle drive the 2 pieces to be clamped together. The vice is an Auto vice, I think designed for the car mechanic.

Very impressive work, well done. Music is also good, like listening to Jean Michel Jarre.
-
Some of my old tools, see if you can guess what the 1st one is. Sorry about the mess in the background of some but that's how I am
The damaged swage block and mini anvil will be the oldest I would have thought
