Must admit I'm rather proud of it. Always wanted a decent sized workshop. Myself and a friend who's was in the building trade built it 5yrs ago. I made the doors myself.

Some of you will have seen this before ,but for those who have not get a look at this twisted cutie. started with a stock trailer and immediately I had a vision of how it should look today. looks rather small for the wheel horse c 61 so with a lot of thought etc and cheap bits and pieces from my friends I made this. Now that's more like it. comes with extended body, extra axel, suspention which works like a beam axel. full controllable hydraulic raise and lower by hand pump and Grafics by Titch, machinery decals.  would just like to add that this trailer will tip at 90 degrees so anything awkward will come out.

Just to be clear, this is not a restoration. This was just a fix anything that needs fixing, and slap a coat of paint on it, refurbish.  My dad has a large piece of property, and we picked this up at an auction for $200. Its an old 93 Toro Groundsmaster with a 25hp Mitsubishi K3D 3 cylinder diesel, and a 72" mowing deck. This thing is a MONSTER. It will mow a lot of grass in a hurry!! My first time using it was not pretty, as its huge mower deck takes some getting use to. I mowed lots of plants, and small trees that I shouldn't have.   My mom said "keep that monstrosity away from my flower bed"!!!  Anyway, here are a few pics.  You can see from some of my patches on the deck, that the previous owners had a hard time avoiding, smashing into things with this huge deck as well. This deck was very rough!

amcrules00 reacted to Lauber1 in Bigger tractor power, but old
Just so every one doesnt think I only have garden tractors, I'll provide you with some pic's of tractors here not commonly seen. I do after all live in the middle of a large corn field, so some larger power is needed once in a while.

Here is my 1959 Case 601-B, a 50hp diesel, with an 8 speed trans, not many of these made.

The second machine is a 1961 M&M model M-5, which has a 60hp gas engine, a 5 speed trans with a torque amp. This tractor will go over 30mph on the road, which is plenty fast for a narrow front.

I don't know much about the history of the Case's past, but the Minni belonged to one of two old bachelor farmers, who past on, and his brother never used it for 13yrs. It was only used with a 5 bottom plow, when it was used and has only 1100hrs on it.

amcrules00 reacted to Ian in Webb cylinder mower turns into a Trike!
With some chopping and changing a new slightly bigger engine was fitted into the Webb frame.. A Kawasaki Z200 engine with custom 1 into 2 exhaust that flowed into two Harley end cans which Garry turned up with one day

A view from the back, Atco fuel tank and a pedal to take care of gear shifting.. A Webb with a 5 speed box don't you know

As I had the rest of the bike the engine came from I thought I might as well fit the headlamp and indicators just for the laugh and to see the look on peoples faces

    The Z200 dash installed..

The rebuild after painting the frame.

A new tow behind seat thingy was built. Here's the bare frame..

By this point in the build I had picked up a second Kawasaki Z200 for spares, which came in handy

Wanting driver comfort a custom independent suspension was built. Here's Garry with a Z200 swing arm that was turned into a wishbone thingy.

    A view from underneath..

The nearly finished rear end... Independent suspension, Z200 front wheels with cable operated disc brakes, and a rear light cover I made from some computer case panels..

The Z200 speedo was relocated to next to the seat so I could connect it to the speedo drive on the right side wheel.

The rear brakes were operated by this lever just in front of the seat..

The grass box getting a flame job..

Ta Daa.....  I never did get round to fitting a good seat to it

I still had hair back in those days

Top speed was about 30mph which is as about as fast as you would want to go down a gravel track still on the Webb's original steel roller!!

So how did it turn into a trike??

Your going to have to wait until later to see that part, got things I need to get done this morning..

    To be Continued....

I'm sure the original engine was a Briggs of some sort.. All this happened a very long time ago, so the brain cell's are straining a bit to remember

I have a few different toys/machines/tractors now but I must say my love is still with my little old wheel horse! I've had my horse a while now, it's been worked hard but mainly it just gets driven for fun, when I first joined the RedSquare wheel horse forum, my horse lead to some confusion, as it's a 1970 model raider 10, yet surrey county council road registered it with the registration APF 197H on the 22nd of October 1969. I have all the paper work with this and now a tipping trailer and a snow plough! (Typical) the year I buy a snow plough we get no snow! Aha still waiting,

This story get better, as through the RS site I found a second tractor with 4 more attachments, which were the riding sulky, a front blade, a cultivator, and the all important item...........a plow!! I had a show coming up in less than 30 days, so after a 500ml round trip up to Michigan, I brought back a pickup load. This tractor had the wrong engine, and again the tires were bad, but it had already been mostly restored, and just needed the missing parts replaced and some clean up. The attachments on the other hand were untouched, so I decided to do the plow and the riding sulky. The sulky proved to be the biggest challenge, as parts of it were missing, and had to be fab'ed up from nothing more than a photo of an original. I didn't take many pictures of this work, but do have a few still and one or two from its first showing::

These two tractor are the model PT-20, which used the 2hp Briggs model 6. You could get a bigger model 8 engine(along with other brands) with the PT-25, but  tires on those units were 16" instead of the 12" ones of the smaller unit. I have not currently redone the blade or the cultivator, but am hoping to find one of the larger hp tractors and their larger wheels to go with. Maybe if I get really lucky I could find one of the deluxe  models that came with a hood similar to the RJ rider series.
