Tidy job and good to see the Bolens hauling that load with ease. I must get my HT20 steering sorted and I know of just a chap to sort that out for me......
Just want to pass on my thanks to Chris Sutton aka the Showman for organising a fantastic relaxing weekend at RPT who was ably helped by Norman aka Stormin' where I got the chance to give my Bolens 600 a good run out for both days.
I also drove the Showman's Bolens until it threw a belt and also pulled a disc harrow that belonged to Growbag until that parted company..... The Bolens doesn't know it own strength.......
I kńow that feeling all too well Chris. I have relocated all my Bolens to one storage yard and it been a challenge I can tell you. I just got too much and it's completely filled up with implements and so forth. Fortunately my 600 was at the front so it was easy to drive out and run up,the ramps into my van. I have therefore got my Bolens 600 loaded up this evening in readiness for RPT. Just going to use my Morris van for the next two days before I shoot off to Sussex.
Just been looking at a few videos. The safety factor is an interesting point and applying direct heat to the bolt itself without damaging or distorting the surrounding areas appeals to me greatly. I am assuming that you could save a lot of time using this tool which would obviously speed the job up no end.
However the price at the moment is the only negative point I got about this product. Hopefully over time the product will be become more widely available and thus cheaper? Have you got a trade card so you might be able to get it a tad cheaper? Be interesting to see others views on this.
