Triumph66 reacted to Christopher Taylor in MARTIN MARKHAM COLT DELUX FOR SALE
Hi I am fairly new to this site although I have been restoring Wheelhorse tractors since 2008, I guess you have sold your MM by now, I am looking for one if you have not sold it, and for some spares for the gearbox as I am restoring one at the moment, mine is missing the rear shaft in the gearbox and two gears than fit onto it, do you happen to know anyone who has worked on one of these gearboxes that may have some dimensions so as I can get the parts made, I am on the Isle of Wight , no one over here to help; Regards Chris.

I’ve got a McCormick G30R in at the moment. Very good machines I think. Very compact and versatile.

Hi Paul, it has been a while since we last had a catch-up and we must do so once the current situation is over. Over the Christmas break we picked up another Cub Cadet original as a parts machine but since then we have managed to find a lot of parts that means we may have two viable tractors
Hi Alan, I hope you are well and it will be good to catch up soon. Mum was not impressed and we have not worked out where to store them yet I have never seen the roads this empty before, even in the middle of the night
Hi Andrew, unbelievable to find these two 30 minutes down the road. We were looking at the G12 today and in the daylight it is clear that it has a green chassis, the same colour as the HT23 which make it even rarer. I have never seen another with a green chassis.
Stay safe an well everyone
Joseph

Once finished they had the right shape i was looking for but very flimsy so I’m not going to use them.
Luck I’ve got a plan B

All the credit goes to my son Steve for the hood work, Don’t know what I would have done without him
Made a start on the rear fenders, i cut the boot floor out of a Scenic that my son was scrapping.
I thought I would get 4 fenders but not to be
Took ages to clean them up and the tin isn’t very thick

At a price I couldn’t resist... we acquired this very tidy Westwood 16 hydro with sweeper.
Reckon it only has 50 hours on it.
No battery, fuel pipes persished, flat tyre, etc.
watch this space....

My new tyres arrived yesterday, very pleased with them almost the same size and a third of the price. As the rims are old i put new tubes in them as they were only £6 each.
Now both the boys are on the floor and rolling.

It lives.... I thought the carb was a goner as it had so much black tar inside that I couldn’t get out. Fortunately brother has an ultrasonic cleaning tank.
Sorted

Sorting out the front tyres from the back of the shed, I knew these would come in handy one day.
No prizes for guessing where they came from, .
The wheels that i made I decided to put nuts and bolts through them although I welded them it’s just a safety issue, also found some shiny capped nuts to add a bit of bling.
