She certainly looks nice & dirty now Matt, I can see your problem with the tilling on your video by the tractor moving too fast while tillin , hopefully your flow control valve will cure the problem , i agree it should have been a standard fitting

Ian , yes sadly the barn is built in the flood zone , but then the whole garden is . I intend to install a raised timber floor inside in the hope that the water will not rise above the floor level .
I am hoping that due to the recent flooding within the Bridgwater area that the Government & the Environment agencies will dredge to local rivers to prevent the flooding happening again .
Hopefully they wont want the embarrasing situation of flooding to arise again due to un dredged rivers , Infact, strangely the local water exit coarses are all extremely low for the time of year so whatever they have done seems to be working .
The decorations were put up on the new barn early so that the flood water didnt float them away .
I am going to have to complete the barn with the view that it may flood again in the future, so i will have to keep tools etc off the ground .
-
I started to build this small barn in the autumn last year 2013 , i needed somewhere to store some of my tools & a few wheel horse tractors along with a few other Bits n Bobs, & also somewhere to do a few jobs .
I managed to use up all the left over bits of wood that i had accumilated from customers jobs & i managed to pick up a Mahogony exterior door from the bay of E for Ten Quid . i could buy the glass for that sort of money .
I have only managed to complete the front & side section so far and i built the barn doors only this week end .
Hope to have the roof pitched sometime this week.
i would have like to use reclaimed clay roof tiles but the budget would not stretch to that ,so i am using Box profile steel roof sheets ,
-
