  2. Hi, we are heading to Eastbourne in a couple of weeks time for a wee holiday. Can anyone suggest any attractions/ horticultural shows, etc to go and see ? We will be there on the 16th July for a week. Thanks, Noel.
  3. My father had a pale blue 1976 16L mk3 Cortina with a mk4 interior. It was supposed to have been an end of line car and Ford ran out of mk3 interiors so used the new mk4. Whether or not that is true i dont know, but thats the story.
  4. You should try a Jeep Cherokee, it has a core plug behind the flywheel, so it is either engine out or gearbox and transfer box out ! The core plug rots every few years as its in contact with an aluminium plate. Its not only Land Rover that comes up with great designs.
  5. Stretch it out and make it into a drag quad for the dirt. You could put big tractor cleat tyres on the back.

    Try this one.

Came across this today. First couple of photos. Guess away.
  13. I had a little bit of an advantage with the Suzuki. the give away was the divorced transfer case.
  14. Top car looks like a Suzuki SJ, not sure about the bottom one. Back axle looks like a Dana 44 or Sailisbury so could be a Range Rover.
  15. Picked these up last Saturday for £20, they have new Vredestein tyres fitted , 5.00x8 V52. Anyone know what they might have been off ? The rear bearing is 25x52x15 with an oil seal and the front is 20x52x15.
  16. They are Carlisle Titan A.C.T (all conditions tyre) you can get them from All Terrain Tyre, although mine were a Christmas present Size is 25-8.00x12, a little tight for clearance, had to move seat pan and floor boards a little. The 23-7.00x12 might be a better size for clearance.
  17. It has turned out better than i had hoped. Time to find my next project i think.
  18. Almost there, just need a new seat.
  19. Seen them, only thing is they are 4 inch wide, i wanted to keep the orignal rims so needed a 6 1/2 inch wide tyre. Only ones i could find that width were Firestone ones which are silly money.
  20. New front tyres arrived today. Would have liked three rib tyres but they were working out too expensive. Around £150 each. These cost £48 each including postage.
