A nice selection of machines.. what's going on with the Wheel Horse in the 3rd and 4th photos? It says C-165 on the hood but looks a bit strange.. Has someone put a C-165 hood on another make? Pressed steel chassis as well.

No tractor porn on my Wife's hard drive, and the other one was so old I have no pc that I can plug it into.... IDE cables feel like such a long time ago!

I think it's working Chris, after an hour the bare steel had certainly lost it's shine.. I left in the shack overnight as I didn't want any bunnies or any other creatures getting battery acid on themselves before it has dried out..
It can go outside today and stay there until I'm ready for it.
As some of you will know I had problems with my Wife's computer last week when the hard drive died. After lot's of faffing about I managed to get all the data off it (much to my Wife's happiness) which left the question of what to do with the dead hard drive....
Looks as rusty as my raider! But then mine has been on fire
Plenty of rust on it Mark..
But most of it came off easy with a wire brush
And settled in a neat pile on the bench!
I don't think I will be repairing this bit somehow, easy enough to fold a new one out of ally.

So there you go, stripped down to the naked chassis and much to my shock and surprise everything (bar one bit) came undone and came off!!
The one part that is being a pain of all things is the gear knob!! It turns but won't unwind!
While on the subject of things with gear knobs on, here's another trans that is refusing to give up it's grip on a slot hitch.. So far loads of heat and plenty of weight have failed to move it!!

The only question now was which bit should I clean up first... Thinking quite far ahead here the last remaining paint was stripped from the top of the hood, but only the top..
The bare metal was then given a coating of battery acid to help start the rusting process....
Yes you did read that right, I want it to rust.... As to why, your have to wait and see Don't give the game away Chris
Ok Nigel, you have got me there... It is just possible some rust dust found it's way into my smoke, it's hard to see it when it's managed to get mixed into the baccy
What's the alternative?
Being not alive Norm, though the action might be a bit slower
It's quite interesting being live.. In my normal video's I have to think of what I'm going to say about what I'm doing.. You don't get the time to think about that being live, so I just sit back and see what comes out of my mouth
