Proper steering arms and wheels now fitted to the CC128...
Last photo shows the CC back in its living quarters after the hoover had been whizzed round...
Getting a bit further on with this machine as Tractorfest is looming large on the horizon, the missing fuel tank and toolbox caps have been replaced by
trailer hubcaps for now, they are the right size and will do until the right ones turn up (if they ever do)...
Ahh, BSA motorcycles...
When me and me dad were into bikes, he had a B31 and I had Bantams, a D3, a D5 in bits and a trials spec special based on a D14/4...
I also had a Bantam Cub which was basically a D7 Bantam with tiger cub running gear.
All bikes now long gone, dads also gone now 3 and a half years ago, good memories though...
All of my collection of garden tractors are insured through Cherished Car Insurance, it works out at about £35 per annum per tractor and gives you
Public Liability cover for shows and third party fire and theft cover...
Its also available from the NFU...
Hope that helps
Front steering components arrived last Friday, Mr Showman is fitting some longer wheel spindles to them so that I can
use Wheelhorse front wheels,as they are easier and cheaper to get hold of and with the correct bolt on fitment
they don't look any different from Cub Cadet wheels.
Mr Showman has the old wheels that were on the 128, I think they will turn up on a project somewhen...
