Project C1-4x6

Recommended Posts

Hi all I've had another night fabricating various buts and pieces I've decided to make it into a ballast / tractor unit I've tacked on the rear ballast area but I've decided I'm going to make it a bit wider , I've also started to make the twin exhaust system here is what I've done so far !

I have now broke the tack welds off and stretched the body 240 mm wide it now looks a lot better more photos to follow

Translated into English, does that mean the body will cover the wheels?

I think it will cover half the wheels Norm, a bit like a standard fender pan would..

Those exhausts are a bit wild James :D

I see your running a twin pulley on the engine.. What's your plans for the unused half?

Hi all had a busy day fabricating different parts of the machine I've widened the rear load bed which I think is a lot better it is going to look a bit like a Showman tractor / pulling tractor , which will look pretty good I think with it all sign written up on the sides etc , I've also made the rear tailgate door , which I've tacked in place , and finally I've started making the silencers , which me been tight etc and I like to use what I have available I cut an old car silencer in half re packed with wadding ( thanks Nathan ) and welded the ends up to make a pair, not bad for a first attempt and I'm pretty pleased with the result !
