Keeping warm.

Mate of mine called yesterday with some firewood. Couple of photo's for the Showman. What you can see is only half of what was on the trailer. The other half I logged this afternoon.

Tomorrow I'm off to collect another load. All in exchange for a few hours giving him a hand clear up brash.   :)

Four of us loaded it. One unloaded. Me! After today's labours, I ache in places I'd forgotten  could and stiff in all the wrong ones.

Nearly forgot. The Disco had some smaller lumps in the back.

After fun and games with a reluctant chainsaw, three hours cutting and splitting, (with splitting axe), a fortnight at least of logs is nicely stacked. And the heap of timber doesn't look any less.  Where's the collapse in a heap smillie?

Memo to self. You are NOT 19 anymore.

Took my advice and considered wondering over to the dark hydraulic side yet old chap? :D

Talking about reluctant chainsaws I think mines in for a replacement... time to buy me a decent stihl me thinks!

Right ... I'm off to dig out my 7 tonne manly chopper... B)
