on that auction site it's come with a blown Mitsubishi engine so I've decided to put a kubota engine in , but this isn't

gonna be no straight swap, everything has to be changed to make it fit and within havin a manual gear box everything

needs to be just right for the clutch here's what I've got

Another project James!!  No stopping you is there

Other than the engine swap what's your plans for it?    You could make a great mini recovery vehicle that would look cool

at shows with something on the back

Just an update on the project and answer to your questions , it's 4 wheel drive and rear diff lock it has a rear pto same as

normal tractors ' it has in place tipper gear for the rear body it's manual three speed with hi and low I think , the engine is

a 25 horse power kubota unit , it came out of a compact tractor. I'm hopefully going to mount a gritter body on the back for

winter work and use as a tipper in the summer ! I've made a conversion plate today and hopefully tomoro it will be in !!

Hi all I've had a pretty good day today I've made the conversion plate to fit the new engine to the toro transmission bell

housing, re drilled the fly wheel and aligned the clutch , then I fitted the engine in , which went in with no bother at all I

just need to make some engine mounts and plum everything up !
Here is a video of the engine in

Hi all I've been busy doing different things on the project ive sorted the wiring out it now starts on the key I've swapped alternators with the original Mitsubishi one as this had the extra terminal for the rev counter which now works I've got the temperature gauge done , I've also fabricated a drive shaft for the hydraulic pump , and I've now started making the tipper body out of box section here is a few pictures so far !

Had a good day today on the toro with the help of Sam I've made the rear hinge brackets and pivot pins and also fitted the hydraulic rams to it , I did a test run and all worked fine I just now need to get the sheets for the floor and sides, I then removed hope fully for the last time to finish off the bell housing , then we refitted the engine and then continued to make some throttle linkages so now it revs up by the foot and hand controls , so I've had a pretty good day , I've now discovered I may have to put a header tank in to the cooling system because the radiator s now lower than the engine and it seems to be struggling with air locks and pumping issues so I'm hoping to put a raised header tank in the system to stop this ,,pictures to follow !
