the showman 4,074 #30 Posted January 15, 2016 As its been a nice and dry day I managed to finish the roof. Its had a good coats of adhesive and 2 layers of felt I warmed up the sides and used 80x80 plastic angle siliconed and nailed on then painted black as they only do white. Its all buttoned up and watertight and should stand the high winds we have here on the Southcoast. Next job is the front lower plate and make some doors. 6 Triumph66, Ian, pmackellow and 3 others reacted to this

the showman 4,074 #38 Posted January 19, 2016 As it was a nice sunny day I managed to get the front wall done. First job was the bottom rail, I drilled through the concrete and fixed it down with 4 10mm x 175 mm anchor bolts then made a frame to attach the wall boards, I've put silicon in between the joints just to make it extra water tight. Just a pair of doors to make now ( when i get some more wood ). Here's a couple of pictures for Norm to look at . 3 nigel, Alan and pmackellow reacted to this

the showman 4,074 #40 Posted January 19, 2016 Hope so mate, my next move is to empty the shed and swap the tractor with another, if it doesn't come out I'll make the hole bigger before i make the doors

Triumph66 1,256 #48 Posted January 22, 2016 Looking good. I made and replaced a customer's shed door myself yesterday. The shed was an old air raid shelter from WWII. Actually quite pleased with how it all went together. 3 pmackellow, Alan and diggerjames reacted to this
