S1g 579 #26 Posted March 1, 2017 Thankyou Norman, it's still not quite finished yet but it's getting there. Hopefully will get back on with my Sachs gem next week.

S1g 579 #30 Posted March 2, 2017 A bit more progress today. Managed to get the belt pulley on, also the belt guard and decal. The simple cantilever clutch was connected back up, with the operating lever getting a coat of paint. The final job for today was the depth foot, which was missing when purchased but there was one on the doner machine. 6 pmackellow, Darmic1, Alan and 3 others reacted to this
S1g 579 #31 Posted March 3, 2017 Found some handle grips in the workshop, and fitted. Also fitted the blades. Just waiting on a few bolts and a belt and then itll be finished. 4 Stormin, Wallfish, nigel and 1 other reacted to this

Stormin 4,458 #35 Posted March 3, 2017 I can't help thinking when I see the photo's, of the hobby horses of the '50's. You sat on it and moved up and down. This moved the legs, which had wheels on and it moved forward. 2 S1g and nigel reacted to this

Kind of looks like the result of an illicit get together of a merry tiller and a motorbike. 2 Darmic1 and pmackellow reacted to this
