4x4forks 258 #1 Posted November 4, 2017 Opps ! How did that happen ? I was driving down the road and I found this in my trailer Just bought another tractor. Allen Oxford Motostandard with finger bar mower and including a gen owners and parts manual. Everything works great and the only missing thing is one front indicator lens is missing . Now need some long grass to mow . 5 WestwoodGazelle, pmackellow, Stormin and 2 others reacted to this

harryt 281 #6 Posted November 4, 2017 Very nice machine, I noticed it on the bay and was tempted but didn't need another, I thought it was a very good price though. Do you not find you need the front weight? 1 4x4forks reacted to this

The Fife Plooman 632 #8 Posted November 4, 2017 Hi If you are lucky and look on the bottom of the towing hitch you may find a plate with the date on it 1 4x4forks reacted to this
Triumph66 1,256 #9 Posted November 4, 2017 I saw that on EBay and loved it but got no room. Nice haul' 1 4x4forks reacted to this
4x4forks 258 #10 Posted November 5, 2017 No sign of any Date plate under the rear hitch . I will keep investigating. I didn,t know if the Manuel has any real value or whether its just a nice thing to have. It has a original sales leaflet as well . Some of the data is definitely interesting. Stormin 4,458 #11 Posted November 5, 2017 Manual may not be worth anything much, but worth keeping. As is the sales leaflet. Those front indicator lens look the same as Land Rover and real Mini ones. Pity your not up this way. I've several. 1 4x4forks reacted to this

Any literature of this sort is always worth keeping especially if you have the machine to go with it I've seen manuals for these on the bay go for reasonable money... 2 HeadExam and 4x4forks reacted to this
4x4forks 258 #13 Posted November 5, 2017 Just had a go with it as a hedge cutter in the upright position, works quite well but would be better on my Gutbrod 1032 with the reduction hubs in to slow down forward speed and increase blade speed 2 Stormin and HeadExam reacted to this
Stormin 4,458 #14 Posted November 5, 2017 Just keep an eye on things if you increase the bade speed. It can rattle thing loose. I lost a couple of bolts from my fingerbar. 1 4x4forks reacted to this
