pmackellow 2,738 #1 Posted December 22, 2017 Acquired this last month, some of the information crept into the Lawnbug ride on topic so I thought I had better start a new topic in the right section ... Not got too far with it yet other than a wash & brush up and new decals from Titch, and found a manual in my literature collection. Hopefully picking up an interesting addition at the weekend... 2 1 Stormin, WestwoodGazelle and HeadExam reacted to this

pmackellow 2,738 #5 Posted December 24, 2017 Back from Norfolk with a nice haul of goodies These are Flymo parts but as Wristpin says they also fit the Gemini They look brand new, never seen dirt !
Wristpin 400 #6 Posted December 24, 2017 A good find there but I would think that the little Suffolk engine would be working quite hard with that ridger (spelling??) body in Wealden clay, but perhaps it's destined for a more relaxed life? 1 pmackellow reacted to this

I agree, the engine would indeed struggle, this lot will be for show only methinks
pmackellow 2,738 #8 Posted December 25, 2017 Wristpin, the tools are a dark brown colour which would be the Flymo livery, do you know what colour they would be for Westwood please ?

Wristpin 400 #15 Posted January 3, 2018 Looking good. On the Flymo parts illustration there's a lever to trip the bin latch to allow it to tip. Is there any sign of one having being fitted to yours or was it a latter addition?
nigel 1,876 #16 Posted January 3, 2018 Don’t think I would want to load that with concrete Paul it would have you arse over tit 😄 strait over the bars 1 pmackellow reacted to this

Yes there is, looks a bit Heath Robinson and as I intend to show the machine with the barrow on, the pins and r clips will be replaced by bolts and wingnuts to make it all a bit more sturdy
