    I Need This truck

Maybe want is a better word, but if anyone wins the lottery and has a spare 10-12k I would appreciate a long term loan as a tax deduction for you. https://www.purplewave.com/auction/171227A/item/DP9600?utm_campaign=20171226&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Boomtrain&bt_alias=eyJ1c2VySWQiOiAiMWQyNmUyYjUtZGU3NC00M2ZjLWJhOGEtZDBiYmNjMjViNjJmIn0%3D

    Magnesium Repair

I have recently been researching restoration of magnesium alloys in readiness to restore the wheels on a Ferrari and I can tell you it is a minefield of does and don'ts because of fire risk and instant corrosion, I would avoid welding if you can and use either fire spring roll pins or fine threaded bar into a series of tapped holes as a means of coping with expansion of the alloy when warm in use. If you want to go down the metal repair route with sufficient pins in place you could use soft lead with a plasticine dam either side to retain it whilst cooling.

    "O&R Life Saver Gen-set"

The old seals on these engines are definitely subject to causing lean running conditions. I've found that about 50% of them need new seals, and it does not matter if they are NOS or well used.

    "O&R Life Saver Gen-set"

Today I purchased some regular non synthetic STIHL 2 cycle oil mixed it at a ratio of 32:1 using same type of gas as before 89 octane non-ethanol. drained old fuel from the O&R genset put in the new fuel mix and the engine started right up and runs great. Re-adjusted mixture needle valve about a 1/4 turn clockwise, leaner. Engine still has a very light blue smoke coming out of the exhaust just like it should. Not sure why the engine did not like the synthetic 2 cycle oil but it is what it is. I have heard stories about synthetic oils and synthetic brake fluids doing things to rubber seals or o-rings. Maybe the main bearing seals were letting air leak in causing the engine to lean out. I don't know but it seems to be running fine now with the regular 2 cycle oil.
