    Nice little Drill Project

Haven't achieved much, too cold in Workshop. Prepped most of the Spindle Drive parts and painted the red bits- Reckon it will cost me about £12.00 and a few good weather days to get this up 'n' running .

    Input on News Needed

Putin's maybe seeing how far he can push things. He's said he would like the Soviet Union back. Russian subs have been active for some time round our coast lines. All we can hope for is things don't escalate to far. All the trouble in the middle east doesn't help. Neither do the likes of Trump and co. Or throwing accusations around with out proof.

    Beast from the East 2

Well the Met Office got it right again regarding the heavy snow here in Devon. The A380 near Exeter is renown for it snow problems due to the steep hills called Telegraph Hill on the A380 and Haldon Hill on the A38. The snow here is around 12" deep in places and the main roads here are driveable but it getting access to those roads that is the problem. Here a few photos of the snow where we live. I am hoping it will disappears by tomorrow.....

    Tiny Tiger gas tank repair

Hi John, These are the pictures of the rubber fuel tank pickup filter. You are correct about the rubber hose. I did consider your idea but this was the filter I had and I believe it will pickup fuel within a 1/4 inch of the bottom of the tank. I wanted to post some pictures of the final product as well. I did have to make a new air filter which I copied from one I saw on this site. It seemed to work out well. Is the orientation in the top of the cyclinder critical? My book doesn't reference orientation but I have read that it should parallel the crank shaft? All in all the project seemed to turn out well. Thank you to everyone for all your help and guidance on this project! Terry

Hi, I will be there the whole weekend. Last year I took my Ransomes MG40 Crawler & had it sat in the tractor line up Fearing for its safety & people messing with it I moved it into the Stationary engine section for the night as I know the guy who runs it. I forgot to move it back again the next day . The Showman Chris was also in the section with his Chicken Plucker & WH Tractors If I pull my finger out I may get my Mayfield Merlin done in time
