Here is a picture of my D7F Cat . I have 3 different blades for this machine .

I got about half the bunch out, 5 new batteries, 6 gallons of engine oil. 8 new air and fuel filters.

Here’s my version. Pretty much unused.

I assume the lugs on the frame around the tractor, are for attaching the various blades?

I wonder what would happen if you reported your findings to E-bay? Or maybe even the police fraud squad?

There are three different versions of the Comet circular saw that I know of; The first & earliest (1961 or earlier) branded Comet C/Saw, I can't imagine many survived for long without the tank getting damaged; Second version same as yours, also branded Comet C/Saw with improved tank handle; And finally the later version, branded Comet Tote'N Tools, with cast tank; Have you got the special cover that Comet used for the magneto coil?
