  1. Great pics, you are reminding me I've got lots of pics of the last show....
  2. I'm on the move so hard to look up, it will be 1-8756 and the plate is under the air intake on the chassis under a load of crud I'm guessing...
  3. Should've left it outside and not in the kitchen
  4. good plan, let me know if you need this calculator...
  5. we host one of the Northern BLMRA events every May, heres some of the wheel horses used. and yes you spotted that correctly even girls race! how cool is that
  6. Some of you will remember that the Tecumseh V70 engine expired on my sons ranger after 40 years. The con rod has snapped and knowing they aren't that reliable (though 40 years isn't bad) I've chosen what I trust to be a better replacement. Here's the Ranger in happier times... and now on my new Ranger maintenance station - my knees are getting too old to crawl on the floor. Parts can be stored underneath out of the way and it's on wheels here's the new Engine ready to drop in, needs the pulley swapping over and a small mod to the chassis to make it fit. I will need to change the ignition switch and fit a solenoid. At least this one has a reasonable charge stator - so we can run some lights! So another project to do in between C4, Bendy, Difflock, moving house and work
  7. good news, got there at last!
  8. Tidy machine :thumbs;

  13. Here's a big clue, needless to say my cunning plan works
  14. Awesome Ian, I've done a lot of Karting, inc 24hr challenges, that takes weeks to recover from
  15. Best make sure the throttle doesn't stick orbtheres no awning displays nearby...
  16. Charlie, I think it's still tbd, a few of the guys are keen to head back north next year, but that's as much for the holiday, scenery and the show itself. It may well be time for it to head south, perhaps south west in order to make it fair for all members.... I guess we can wait no see what the others think, we've a good few months to arrange somewhere. Mark
  17. Small update from yesterday... 'Borrowed' the 8 speed from my C-161 as I want a heavy duty trans at the back. Surprise surprise, the hitch pin is seized.... Out with the grinder to cut the end off and then drill the remaining inch and half out to split it. And as usual, it's full of yoghurt Full set of seals ordered as it's getting a reasonable overhaul, the diff is getting special treatment too That just might find its own special thread
