Attaching wheel rim to tyre machine before soaping tyre.
First fitting tyre over rim.
Using our other tyre machine attachment with wheel to press tyre on.
Stops catching freshly painted rims.
Finished product. all tyres now on painted rims ready to fit.
Next job painting (weather permitting)

I've the same 1953 myford ML7 lathe as Richard, only with 3 phase and an inverter. I'm untidy though, so it's a mess

Missus wanted an island for the kitchen, so I made her one for Xmas.
It's 50% recycled too! top is made from the old garage roof timbers

Since we are all missing it here in the UK, thought I'd post of few pics from the other year where I live.
We get some good cold snaps, -13c is the coldest, with the kitchen down at 7c. Pretty well everything freezes, no where like the US recently though

Being forced to watch Dynasty or the Colbys an hour later

here's one of my all time favourite tractors - A Roadless Super Dexta. It's what has inspired me since being a teenager to own/make a 4x4 tractor. The front axles were military design, and the mods were made by a UK company Roadless traction.
