  1. Just did a conversion. Those weights of yours are 99lb. Thanks! Topic on them here.
  2. The rear weights I made for my Black Horse weigh 53lb each.
  3. Have a look at these two. www.4x4tyres.co.uk/tyres allterraintyres.co.uk ‎ Why this ad?
  4. Well done. I notice you've got a hand pump for the lift. What was that off if I may ask?

    Deck change.

The blades on my 42" rear discharge deck are well past their sell by date. They've done a lot of work over the years and not on ideal ground. Blunt and worn is an understatement and the deck when mowing has got rather noisy. Bearings are ok so suspect blades out of balance. So Monday I checked over a 32" deck I acquired last year. This is a Torro one. No play in the bearings so they got five shots of grease. . Blades just needed a tickle. Popped it on the C-125 with a new belt, started the engine and engaged the PTO. Though the blades spun ok, something just did not seem right. Not as fast as I thought they should for the engine revs. Stopping the engine I felt the PTO. It felt warmish. I guessed slipping a bit so I adjusted the pressure. Runs great now and I tested it out on one of the lane verges yesterday. Cuts much better than the 42" deck, which wasn't really surprising given the state of the blades. 3rd low instead of 2nd or 1st and at less revs also. I'll get new blades for the 42" one day.
  6. Mike. I've seen worse than that dragged out of the undergrowth and restored. I can't help you with any info, but there will be people along no doubt who can help.

I wonder why I thought of Mad Max and Hannibal Lecter when I saw that grill.
  8. Nice bit of ploughing. Well turned over and very little grass/stubble showing.
  9. Try here, Geoff. http://www.vhgmc.co.uk/forums/topic/monro-s3/

Instead of lowering the steering wheel, how about raising the seat? Some people have long legs you know.
  11. If it runs and everything is ok, I'd say £100 - 150 at least.
  12. How about some info on the McCormick? Looks like a handy machine. Also if that's rhubarb I see, I wish we had some like that here.
  13. Thanks Nigel. Just a quick job really. Not showroom. but tidier than it was.
  14. They're growing up. Still ten.

How far off the belt is it, Nigel? Are you going to fit a belt guard/heatshield combined?
  16. Top coat of paint on. Agricultural enamel. IH red. Brush painted. Now all I have to do is wait for it to dry.
  17. Wheels on my Saxon trailer have got a bit scruffy over the years. So this morning I decided to give them a freshen up. So off they came, but I think I went a tad to far.
  18. Oi Geordie Boy. I've only one tractor with a stack.
  19. I vote for the pepper pot. More in keeping with the style of the tractor. Stack looks rather thin and tall and will need a bracket to keep it upright. BTW. Did you make the exhausts or rob one of the two Steve's.

Simples! What were you worried about?
  21. I thought the site looked familiar. Scone Palace.
