Is there an ID plate on it? Serial number etc? Also the engine number can give you a rough idea of it's age. If it's the original engine of course.

For a change from painting everything that doesn't move during this lock down, I have had a dabble a some woodwork.
First to receive my ministrations, was the arch leading down to my woodyard and the pond.
The top was in a rather bad way. Not surprising really after something over ten years at least. So some scrap boards provided the sides. Some more boards, put through the saw bench, provided the slats.
Next on the list was the leant I keep my Saxon trailer, Roller and lawn sweeper under.
So off with the rotten ply roof.
Couple of sheets of Stirling board. Screwed down, not nailed.
Yesterday I laid the felt.
Finished that by lunch time. So started on the next job. New lids for the coal bunker. Two 14ft T&G planks, obtained along with the Stirling board got cut to length. Talk about good planning. I only had 4" of scrap of each board. Got those finished today and felted.
Tomorrow I'll get the hinges and some screws. Also I need to find a couple of boards to cover the gaps either side. Stock of planks and boards is well depleted.

Scooter wheels are an Idea. I modified scooter wheels on my C-121, Black Horse. I used trailer hubs as well. May give you ideas. Page 15.

If you need a hand, Jonathan, just give me a call. It's getting harder to find things to do now.
-
All the Best, Karl. Thanks for all you do.

I had a feeling you'd bought them, Harry. Look after them.
Pity I couldn't get up to help and see you again.

If you go to our sister site, RedSquare. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/ Steveasaurus on there is the expert on transmissions. He's done some tutorials and he'll answer all your questions.
Just don't tell him I told you.

Well they have grown nearly as big as their mother and have been doing well over the last couple of weeks or so. Though reduced to six. Too big for crows, magpies and cats. But this morning only five. I guess there's been a fox about.
Another brood hatched out last week. Eleven all told. No doubt some of them will fall victim to predators.
-
Bit of a shame really to see your collection split up. Hope they've gone to where they'll be appreciated and cared for.

I had a W11 some years back for the grandsons to ride round on. Never did any work on it. I did find that previous owner/owners, had run it with no bearing left for the LH drive shaft. The tube was elongated by at least half an inch.
Scrapped it, kept the engine and the front axle was used for a tractor ambulance trailer.

You and your gates! Seeing those gave me the push to give the yard 5 bar gate a freshen up.
-
Seem to be a few Westwoods popping up. Apart from the seat, it doesn't look in bad condition. Not bashed about.
-
Can't help you with the paint colours, but
There are two or three Westwood owners on here. Put Westwood Gazelle in the search and see what comes up. I think the paint colours were mentioned in a topic somewhere.
-
Do you really need that much weight? Seems a bit OTT to me. That's 176lb a wheel.
-
Wot 'e sed! Love the colour.
-
Just did a conversion. Those weights of yours are 99lb.
Thanks! Topic on them here.
-
The rear weights I made for my Black Horse weigh 53lb each.
-
Have a look at these two.

Well done.
I notice you've got a hand pump for the lift. What was that off if I may ask?

The blades on my 42" rear discharge deck are well past their sell by date. They've done a lot of work over the years and not on ideal ground. Blunt and worn is an understatement and the deck when mowing has got rather noisy. Bearings are ok so suspect blades out of balance.
So Monday I checked over a 32" deck I acquired last year. This is a Torro one. No play in the bearings so they got five shots of grease. . Blades just needed a tickle.
Popped it on the C-125 with a new belt, started the engine and engaged the PTO. Though the blades spun ok, something just did not seem right. Not as fast as I thought they should for the engine revs. Stopping the engine I felt the PTO. It felt warmish. I guessed slipping a bit so I adjusted the pressure.
Runs great now and I tested it out on one of the lane verges yesterday. Cuts much better than the 42" deck, which wasn't really surprising given the state of the blades. 3rd low instead of 2nd or 1st and at less revs also.
I'll get new blades for the 42" one day.

Mike.
I've seen worse than that dragged out of the undergrowth and restored. I can't help you with any info, but there will be people along no doubt who can help.
-
I wonder why I thought of Mad Max and Hannibal Lecter when I saw that grill.
-
Nice bit of ploughing. Well turned over and very little grass/stubble showing.

Try here, Geoff. http://www.vhgmc.co.uk/forums/topic/monro-s3/

Instead of lowering the steering wheel, how about raising the seat? Some people have long legs you know.
