Stormin got a reaction from Ian in Project "Why Not"
Coming on Ian. I kind of like the axle sticking out at the front.

Stormin got a reaction from Dibnah in C-120 refurb.
Progress so far today.
Chassis and trans split.
A pile of bits.
Just hope I can remember where everything goes. I have taken some photo's but probally not enough.
Next, clean up the box and split. Typically only one drive shaft bearing needs replacing. But both will be done and anything else needed.
Anything to watch out for as I split the box? Any particular way to do it without bits falling everywhere?

Stormin got a reaction from ranger in Name ten things that you remember from your childhood that are not around today
1. Having to do as you were told.
2. Proper Wagon Wheels at thrupence each. My Saturday morning treat for going for the shopping. I was six.
3. No child seats in cars.
4. Cream sticking out of the top of milk bottles when freezing.
5. Crash helmets not compulsory on motorbikes.
6. Knowing how to switch the tele off as well as on.
7. Meccano.
8. Mowing the lawns. (Push mower).
9. Sweeping the yard and drive. Cleaning the windows. Chopping kindling. Saturday morning job for 5 bob (25p) pocket money.
10. Teachers with canes, slippers, wooden rules. And they could use 'em.

Stormin got a reaction from Ian in Project "Why Not"
I've been looking at that photo, Ian. Would it be possible to shorten the Honda drive shaft behind the UJ, machine a sleeve/adapter to fit the angle gearbox and weld it to the shortened shaft? You would only have one UJ then.

Stormin got a reaction from diggerjames in New Stock at the Wheelhorse Shed
Only things I find under trees and in hedges are old fence posts and barb wire. Anything useful has been spirited away by southern tourists.

Stormin got a reaction from Lauber1 in Silloth Vintage Rally.
I did have the C-81 and C-125 entered, but as I did not get home from the farm till 11pm Sat night, I couldn't get them there for Sat and Sunday morning I was somewhat jaded. Grandson number 3 and I did pay a visit though. The days were hot and plenty of visitors hit town and the rally.
Remembered my camera so a few photo's to follow. The motorcyclists were from The Isle of Man and they put on a fantastic comedy performance. Most of the bikes were Honda 50's.
Couple of V8 hot rods.
Something a little older.
Stationary engines.
Tractors.
Horse drawn implements.
Stunt riders.
Syco.
Getting a tow in wheelie bins.
Finally some miniature steamers.
Even though we were there by 11am taking photo's was a bit of a nightmare due to the crowds.

Stormin reacted to ranger in SOME MORE RIDE ON`S + IMPLEMENTS
Should this be in the 'Home built items' section? Pulled this out of the spare stable/hay barn, I made this a couple of years ago out of an old oxy bottle, some scrap channel, an old oak fence post, (for bearings) J D front wheels and other assorted pieces from the 'come in handy' pile. My original intention was to make a smaller version of the fold up rollers the big boys use and pull it behind the Wheelhorse, but I ran out of spare bottles. With the wheels in place it fits nicely through the stable door. By pulling the lever the roll is lifted or lowered. The spike tooth harrow is one of a set of three I bought from the 'Cheffins' machinery sale a couple of months ago

Evening Chaps, sorry to of kept you waiting on this announcement of the new project or the revamped plans for project Zero-ish turn..
Thanks for the many funny guesses, you have kept me laughing
The reason for keeping you waiting is I was waiting for a rather major part to turn up..
A big THANK YOU to Ben for collecting this for me, ta muchly mate
Soooooo..What am engine am I fitting in this?
Here's a clue..
Here's a bigger clue
Here's an even bigger clue..
Yes that's right, Project "Why Not" is being fitted with this beast of an engine.. 500cc water cooled V twin that knocks out 48hp with 5 speed box
Honda and Wheel Horse.. Soon to become joined in marriage
Oh, the person who guessed the closest was Norm... It's not the engine from Garry's trike, but it is the same engine and this bike did in fact come from Garry

I wouldn't mind a LITTLE workshop like that mesel'.
I like the gold and blue colour scheme.
