pmackellow 2,728 #1 Posted July 6, 2014 Just got back from a great weekend at the Smallholders Show at Ardingly, the weather was pretty changeable and very wet over Friday and Saturday nights but we had a great turnout of exhibitors, a total of 72 exhibits over the two days , a good gathering at our now traditional Saturday evening BBQ and get together and I think everyone went home happy... One of Steve ds exhibits was a Ransomes Rapier water pumping set powered by a JAP 2A engine and part of our joint JAP engines display at the show All was well until the Fairy Liquid Fairies got at it... lads we know who you are !! the showman 4,074 #11 Posted July 6, 2014 John Bedford (Mr SEVAC) came over to me this afternoon and said that our display was the best that he had seen at the Smallholders Show. !!!. Just goes to show that between us with the equipment we all have and exhibit, we get noticed and have a right laugh doing it. Isnt that the reason we do it.
