Stormin reacted to Nateb77 in 1950-53 Terratrac 25g
Hi all, recently picked this up. It has a 4 cylinder continental gas engine. I believe it a Terratrac 25g made from 1950-1953. Any info someone may have would be helpful. I would also like to try to track down an owners manual. Thanks

Stormin reacted to simar kid in Westwood Trailer with attitude
Some of you will have seen this before ,but for those who have not get a look at this twisted cutie. started with a stock trailer and immediately I had a vision of how it should look today. looks rather small for the wheel horse c 61 so with a lot of thought etc and cheap bits and pieces from my friends I made this. Now that's more like it. comes with extended body, extra axel, suspention which works like a beam axel. full controllable hydraulic raise and lower by hand pump and Grafics by Titch, machinery decals. would just like to add that this trailer will tip at 90 degrees so anything awkward will come out.

Stormin got a reaction from amcrules00 in Not enough room.
Must admit I'm rather proud of it. Always wanted a decent sized workshop. Myself and a friend who's was in the building trade built it 5yrs ago. I made the doors myself.

Stormin got a reaction from Cub Cadet in Home made plough/dozer blade.
I built this out of what I had lying around, in anticipation of snow last winter. I'm still waiting.
First a frame was made using some 1-5/8 bore pipe and box section.
Then the front end put together
The blade was made at the local smithy. No rollers big enough, so it was curved in stages on a folder.
I made my own tach-o-matic for the rear.
Then this dodgy character nicked it.

Stormin got a reaction from neil in Bit wild.
High winds and rain today. Went over to youngest daughters this morning. She lives at Silloth on the coast. I decided to return along the marsh road which is something I often do.
As I left the tide was running high, with waves breaking over the prom in places. Reaching the start of the marsh road, I could see the road was covered with choppy water reaching half way up the flood bank.
Decided discrection the better part of valour and turned back.

Stormin reacted to howardman in British Anzani Iron Horse Restoration
The engine is a jap 5 ...made in London by John Arthur Prestwich....with a good exhaust it sounds great...low reving and even/quiet. Will put up video on you tube when i haul it out of shed for next vintage show (running) but in the meantime here is a youtube link to a 2011 gathering of 25 anzani iron horses making a world record attempt at a ploughing event in the Uk. Mick Green who features in the video was invaluble to me in supplying a lot of parts and is the expert on these machines
