    Quiet afternoons pottering about today...

Changed the Lawn Ranger and the Suburban round (they look better that way round) and moved some of the Wheelhorse goodies up from the original Wheelhorse shed (which is now the Yellow and White shed - Cub Cadet and Mowett Mustang)

Nice to see the old Westwood kit. When restoring the cultivator, what was the paint you used as that's the same colour as my Gazelle when Westwood orange paint seems too orange than the old red/orange paint on the cultivator and gazelle. Thanks.

Raised platform in place, just waiting for the wood to finish it off...

One or two machines have crept in as well...

Nice shed but it depends  how you rate the security risk but it looks as though the door hardware is just screwed on.
Not easy to see but are those hinges and the bolt secure?  One coach bolt through each side of each hinge in place of a screw and similar for each side of the bolt  . Long enough to go right through with decent washers and nuts on the inside.
Ideally a bolt and padlock top and bottom.

After much saving, planning and pondering the new shed finally arrived yesterday and was finished off about 6pm today.

@WestwoodGazelle Hi, ok that would be great if you would be able to have a look out for any Westwood tractors that's the same as yours pictured above. I will have a look out also for a Westwood Lawn Bug in Wales as I'm virtually on eBay everyday. Cheers

I see that there's a Westwood Clipper on that auction site at present. I'd totally forgotten that they made such a thing!.

Hey mate, good luck with finding one. There's a lot of "paleface" early Westwoods still around, in fact at any given time there's usually a couple/few on ebay, but as for the very early ones with angled footrests from 1978 and maybe before, these are very scarce, as we have discussed. I am sure they're out there though. I have seen a few on that auction site that cannot be named, in fact that's where I found mine. If I hear or or see any for sale, will be sure to let you know.

Wanted Westwood Gazelle Lawn Mower -

Hi all, I am looking for an early Westwood tractor that has a white grille, flat footrests, and all should have a gearstick in the middle between steering wheel and seat. Any location within the UK I can collect with courier or collection in person (Cash on collection) or bank transfer. If you have an early Westwood with these features like the two pictured below and want to sell, please message me through MoM or by phone through message. If you know of anyone who may have one that would be interested to sell, please also message me. Any condition I am interested to purchase. Much appreciated. Thanks.

Not that it affects the availability but the early "Westwoods"  were imported and rebadged Dynamarks.

I can't believe all of the tractors like that we scrapped over here under the Bradford /Monte Carlo name. Used to find them in piles and we would make one good tractor out of about 10 of them.

Yeah, I think MoM member John used a newer light (same voltage etc.) But with newer terminals on the lights for his early W11 1978 Series 1 Westwood. I think I found them in Europe but being newer terminals I'm not so good with electricals so I opted for the original factory lights although had to come from America. If you're still unsure you could message John as he has replaced the lights I think

On Friday I had a quick trip to see Alan, John and Chris (The Showman), stopping off on the way to drop off a Bolens to the other Chris (Bolens Chris as my lad calls him). It was fantastic to meet up with them all again.

I picked up a Bolens 1054 which I am sure a number of you have seen before. A couple of pictures of the tractor after it arrived safe in Norfolk, the home of Bolens tractors in the UK

It is a 1054-03 which I believe means that it was made in 1972.
