I found an old O&R Kenco Model 61 M pump today on a local Craigslist posting.  Just got it home. This thing has had a hard life and has either been dropped or had something heavy fall on it.  Unfortunately the starter rope guide has been broken off and the side of the front cover and engine cooling fins are crushed a bit. It’s missing the air cleaner and the tank is beat up. I think it’s still a pretty cool unit and I’m looking forward to giving it a good bath.  In the last photo I spent maybe 10 minutes trying to wipe off some of the heavy caked on grease and grime just so I could bring it into the house. I’ll do a proper clean up job here some day.

That's a JB Power chipper saw. I have one but have no idea what it was actually designed for. It does cut nice 3/4 wide dado joint slots.
Mine didn't have that little bar guide on the bottom so that adds to the mystery. Pretty rare O&R tool as I thought I had the only one! LoL Just haven't seen another until now, even on the web
 

No, printed filament from an Ender 3.  Flexible TPU for the gasket and PLA for the plates. Time will tell how the filament lasts but it was a quick and easy alternative.
 

Checked out that old video and I think I can out run you now. We need to have a go of this again

Found some smaller lights and put on the dual light set up. Looks more "factory" with them

Aha, found it.  This carburetor is also on Webhead’s Chromer chainsaw.  Knew I had seen that before. I was about to go nuts looking all over the net and on the forum.  Now I can go to bed

I think I’ve seen that carburetor before. I searched back through a million posts on here but can’t seem to find it. I’ll keep looking for it. Maybe David can work his magic and pinpoint the info.

That’s very cool. I’ve read that before but having an original copy is pretty awesome!

This arrived today, a test report by the National Institute of Agricultural Engineering (NIAE) in the UK on a model J compact engine.
An interesting read, nearly 3 hours into a 24 hour running test the gearbox siezed due to a broken tooth and parts from another engine were used to repair it.
A further 16 hours later and the unit was stopped for excessive clutch slip.
The NIAE concluded that this unit is "not suitable for general farming use", so not exactly a thumbs up then !
 
 
 
 

Flip the petal over.  I've pulled on the starter cord too many times to no avail, on an engine with a broken or leaky reed valve.  I'm a little smarter now!

I remembered that there was a 4th Fox P7 engine in storage so that has been brought home, tidied up and put on display with the others
 
This one had a cowling with a complete pull start so that was swapped with the Turbair one to make that a complete unit.
