I have a set of rear wheel weights for the Bolens. They have FMC embossed on them. I will post some photos shortly.

That snow blower kept blowing in and out of my sleep last night.

Iain, The G14 look better than the advert! What a great buy. Is there a deck with this? That line up look damn cool and your son is a lucky chap to be able to drive them; another Bolens collector in the making! The HT23 is distinctly bigger than the tube frames models. Cheers

You're right about the rain in the West County! Actually what's snow..... I am going to try to make a mixed machinery auction my way but most are geared up for agriculture.

Here's some info I got about the RAM #11 Bolens Ride A Matic: post #11 gunstuff1000 OFFLINE Looks like a great buy and a nice complete tractor you got both belt guards and I see it had the rear trailer hitch as well. That was an option You got a nice tractor there! Honesty it's probably the best ride-a-matic if your going to actually use it because it has the geared rear end. That's excellent Chris if you can borrow something from work. As Iain say, it worth all the work to get this baby back on the road or in the garden! The photos in Ireland didn't do it justice and I think you have got a really good project there. Looking forward to seeing it up and running at Rural Pastimes or if you need a bit more time at Biddeden!

Can you unhitch the front loader and the back hoe so that it's in 3 parts. Perhaps a farmer with a front loader can then lift it off?

Chris, Well done for getting this back home in one piece. I think your photo/ post of your tractor will be located on other forums due to its rarity. At least replacing the tyres will be the easy job! Cheers Andrew

OB, I tried to pull it down it down but it won't budge! Bolens certainly knew how to make them! Chris, Lovely photos of your old RAM. I must confess that the aged red paint work look good on them. When did you sell it?

Ideally I would like to get the Bolens 1254 to be my plough tractor. If not then either the 800 or the RAM to do the job. The 1254 is 12hp and has more torque to pull the plough.

George, I saw that too. Be interesting to see how you will fit this to one of your Gutbrods. Do you know the make of it?

Nigel and Ian, As you have both seen it, do you think the red paint can be removed (carefully) to reveal the original paint underneath!
