    Bolens 800

Just to say that the Bolens bug have bitten me again; a symptom that Chris and Iain knows only too well! I am in the process of acquiring a 1963 Bolens 800 with a mowing deck attached to it. It's in really good condition and have been sympathetically restored a few years ago. I just need to add some detailing at some point and buy some drive belts. Photos to follow once it's safely in my care. Cheers for now.
  2. I am not quite sure how I discover MOM but it must have been when I was researching Wheel Horses on the internet and stumble across this site. I ended up getting a Bolens instead! Most excellent machine and forum.

    150L Compressor

I am not in the market for one of these but for £200 for two that's a bargain for someone.
  6. Engines are not that reliable a few years back , whether that's the case now I don't know. Better off with a Toyota HIlux in my opinion .
  7. One of the few benefits of being colour blind! No wonder you have been poorly mate!
  8. Lovely to see vintage machinery working. Excellent video.
  9. That's useful to know as I have some EP 90 in my garage left over from my Landrover days. I will use the oil on my Bolens tractor when I drain the gear box oil.
  10. Chris, give Paul Jenkins a ring on 07525900797. He is a courier and is very reasonable and reliable. I hope that's of some use? Andrew
  11. It look almost like a Bolens tractor in that colour scheme! Looking forward to seeing it completed and with your reputation, I am sure it will be another stunner.
  12. Iain, Your quick thinking saved the day. Hope this doesn't happen again otherwise you might have to have a flock of sheep to keep the grass down! Andrew
  13. A great looking machine with a lot of patina for a 2014 model! Love it.
  14. Mine is 111/200. A fascinating read. all I need is areal Wheel Horse to compliment my book!
  15. I won't be going after all. I get wet and muddy enough at work anyway.
  16. Ian, Excellent photos and descriptive text. I am looking forward to seeing more as they pop up. I am certainly planning to go to this one again or Sedlescombe. Andrew
  17. My book arrived whilst I was away on holiday. A fascinating book with some very tempting models. Need to arrange an overdraft.......
  18. I have no idea Nigel! Hoping someone might correct this...... I thought our Aussie and Kiwi cousins will appreciate it.....
  19. I went this morning and met up with several members of MoM. Here are some photos of various garden tractors. There was a good selection of classic cars and stationary engines too. Well worth a visit again next year.
  20. Looking forward to seeing it all tomorrow.
  21. I got an email today from Michael. Looking forward to reading the book.
