  3. Is there a book or books on Garden Tractors that covers Wheel Horses, Simplicity, Bolens, Cub Cadets etc... That anyone can recommend as I want to delve into the history of these classic and iconic machines. Thanks

  7. Well, I have taken the plunge and bought a Bolens Husky 1254. I hope to collect it w/c 4 August..... Nigel, you don't still have that engine do you? I could be interested.

  16. All look damn good to me. I am in a quandary with this Bolens tractor that I have seen. It got a Teledyne Wisconsin heavy duty air cooled engine in it. What to do.....

    Great to see a working example. I love the rat look myself. Hope to get a Bolens and a Work Horse for company.
  19. Love the patina of that Bolens; not too dissimilar to the one I am interested in. Andrew Are most of them petrol? There's one with a diesel one on the bay at the moment. Is the 1254 diesel or petrol? Cheers

  21. Evening all, just a question about Bolens Husky tractors. How good are these and how easy is it to get parts from the UK? Are they in the same stable as the Work Horse? Just curious. does anyone here have one? Andrew
  22. Here's my trusty old Morris van used for work every now and then. I did have a pickup until recently but sold it to buy a Toyota HIlux.
