The copper exhaust pipes on the Villiers Twin could withstand the heat, even with a 180 degree bend. I know brass has a lower boiling point, but they should be okay, if not slightly discoloured
My Dad pick this up this morning for a tenner. All I can find is a grainy image of a lawn edger that was once for sale, so any ideas? i assume it was one of those engines that was bolted to many small machines.
I've got to say it is a great feeling working together on this project we both seem to be on the same page and learning from each other considering we both have warped minds it will be very interesting to see what the end project will be, but I am certain it will be a very good working tractor built on a budget of less than £100
Building on a budget always brings out the best ingenuity and ideas!
I'm sure it's a homemade tractor, think it may have been on eBay a while ago.
Yes indeed, it is homemade and was on eBay a little while ago the front wheels are hydraulic driven and it does have a trailer with a matching turner v-twin mounted on it. The same model engine that drives the hydraulic pumps for drive and steering.
I don't know why I didn't include a picture of the whole tractor, I'll try and find one tomorrow :DJ
The 29th annual Rudgwick Steam & Country Show held near Horsham. A very large show that always presents a great amount of variety. It lasts the whole three days of the august bank holiday weekend so attracts a lot of people
