The dash appears (to my sorry eyes at least) to be a 750, wonder if they patched the hole in the dash tower or it rotten away, hard to say what they might have done. It looks like someone got real creative.

You might try and use a lead pencil over the data plate to reveal numbers

A word of advice on any loader tractor, if intended for daily or extensive use, the frame really needs to be strengthen/braced. Almost every loader tractors I have found has had several stress cracks in the frame.

As soon as monsoon season is over the metal will be painted black and the wood will get a natural stain and varnish, I'll use electrical panel plugs welded into the "air holes" to fill them up. As you might have guess the trailer is homemade.

I found a set of 195/75r14 tires and rims, nearly new, for 40.00. The rims fit on my old trailer, Whoo-Hoo

It would be placed in a box filled with the feathers of young doves, put into another box surrounded by packing peanuts, and then finally into a hard plastic container lined in foam. I can substitute the hard plastic box with military grade aluminum for a nominal upcharge. Insurance highly suggested.

I thought that was mandatory?

I was surprised they were there when I saw them. I should have cached the ad, they really were nice.

TWO very nice diesel tractors for 2950.00 wow, they usually go for that or more apiece

I had some watchers, but no buyer yet, I relisted it. The spiritual chip market is a little down right now, so I was't expecting it to fly off the shelf

For 30 years I painted everything from anhydrous ammonia plants to kitchen cabinets and it never failed that a guy in a suit or a housewife would asked me "did you put on two coats?" I goy being to the point where I would say, no I did not, I am cheating you, and by the way I thinned the paint so much that it should fall off by the first dew or in just after I cash the check, which will before the ink is dry. When they would get in a huff, I would ask them how they would feel be accused of cheating, I don't take it well and was more than willing to leave right then and get drunker while I fished.

Primer isn't as hard or as durable as top coat, sometimes I 2 coat primer, sometimes not, but I always 2 and 3 coat the top with thinner coats

I hope everyone knows that the chip auction is a parody, tongue in cheek fun.

It came that way, like a sign from above, I pulled it from a bag of Sour Cream and Onion Wavy Lays on Christmas Day. I feel that someone might want this as a an addition to their special religious shrine.

Very nice Chris, even in its state it epitomizes strength and toughness. It surely is both of those things. I believe I did upload a couple of manuals for the 1556 as well. Glad to be of any help I can.

That it does, she needs the tin sorted out some, but all in all very little rust and all complete. I have a beautiful deck for her as well.

Those are hubcaps on the rear. Right now I am trying to collect all the tractors I can, and while they are available, after that I can start into them. My next project is to get the Wheel Horse D160 back together. I'm going to find a fabrication shop that can recreate mufflers for the Bolens 1476 and Wheel Horse D160, and maybe a few others. The D160 can use a IH-1 muffler from the big red cub tractors with a chrome Harley heat shield that looks almost exactly like the original. I can cut 4" off the same muffler and use it fro the D160, and use a anodized heat shied from a off road bike that will look very close to factory as well. It'd going to take some time, I have my Senior semester coming up along with my Capstone project, then I apply for my teaching certificate. This fall I will teach and work online toward a Masters degree. When I start to work in the fall I will have both funds and time to do more.
-
My late Christmas present, also got a nice little Heavy Duty dump trailer to pull behind, 325.00 for the Bolens and 100.00 for the trailer, 400 miles round trip, 28 gallons of gas at 1.52 PER GALLON

Really superb job guys!!!!

That really stinks. I think when they catch these thieves you should get first crack at softening them up for rehabilitation.

Yeah I don't think the FE35 is common here in the states, I see many people looking for the TO35?, I think that's the one. I have never seen a FE35 here, but that doesn't mean much, I never seen a Red Headed Nymphomaniac Eskimo girl whose dad owns a liquor store, and I even put adverts in the paper.
-
You really pulled in a great haul Joe!!! That Ferguson is a great collector machine

Touche', That it is Norman. Many service manuals call for the removal and replacement of axle pins at certain intervals, but we all know that will not often happen.
