    BOLENS STASH UPDATE

Alan, did this little water pump ever find a home ? Yes Paul, It went off with Chris Stoneman ages ago. He might still have it.
  2. I took a photo of our one snowflake but it melted before I could post it here. Memo, keep camera in a cool place.
  3. Good photo Iain. As Joseph looks like a Cossack with that hat and boots, he should be riding a horse. Wheel horse of course. Think I might know the location of a bigger trailer.
  4. Like the open air Netty Norm. Saves trampling indoors with muddy boots. Self flushing too with all the rain you have up there.
  5. Looks brilliant Norm. The boss must be pleased. An extra helping of brownie points. I'd forgotten about that rake.

Norm. Wait until you get home from Newby hall then tell Carol you won it in a raffle. Problem solved.

And what does the BOSS have to say about this. ?
  8. Had quite a few hydraulic pump drive shafts and other components metal sprayed in a previous job with mixed results. Sprayed then ground back to size. The main problem we found was that it chipped easily, especially if only a thin layer was applied. Would it be easier and cheaper to make a new axle. ?
  9. This was last seen about 7 years ago before the undergrowth spread out and buried it at John's place. Even though I had a rough idea where it was it remained in hiding until yesterday when Chris came close to running into it while making a track with the digger. Both wheels still revolved and the central drive shaft could be turned easily using fingers only. One wheel rim good, the other badly rusted. As can be seen, not much of the machine left, but if any use to anyone let me know asap as it will be moved to a new home in the scrap metal skip next Tuesday.
  10. GOODY. Another result. Well Darren, you have two options. I can pack and post to you, or better still if you pop down again Chris and I will make sure your car makes the return journey fully loaded.
  11. Hi, Darren. Depending on size, I have similar blades rescued from John's. Not perfect due to storage. 75 x 75mm. 5mm c/sunk mounting holes at 50mm C/L. 32 in total.
  12. Who's Steptoe and who's Harold? I didn't have my best face on today Norm. And Chris made me drive a red thing.
  13. What else is there to do when you retire Iain. Keep the beer, I mean updates, flowing. We need to know if Joseph is taking any notice of you.

Looks good Iain. Shame Joseph won't let you drive it though.
  17. Happy Birthday Darren. Have a good one. Or what's left of the day.
  18. The tree would look better decorated with tractor bits and piece's.
  19. Happy Christmas one and all. Pig out, get tiddly and look forward to getting back into the workshop.
