It was hard to tell you and your twin apart Ian, luckily there was only ONE Nigel.
-
Thanks Mark. Quick answer.

Another item dug out from John's today. This was attached to a 3 wheel frame. We think it was built, but not completed, by John's brother in law years ago and left abandoned in the woods. The front end has a motor cycle fork with a scooter wheel. Car wheels were on the axle. The frame is about 6 foot long. Didn't take photo's but think I might have posted some on here a while ago.
The only part which won't turn, by hand anyway, is the input shaft right angle box. This, as can be seen, is a separate item bolted to the axle. No make or numbers visible yet but may be something under the dirt.
I expect someone on MoM will have an idea of the make.

Looks like we've wasted our time then. Just can't please some people.

After we had a play with the Roper last Tuesday Chris thought it was time he sorted out Stormin's accommodation for his next visit down south. As Pam's wood pile has now taken up residence in the spare bedroom ( due to the sheds being crammed full ) Chris thought the partly crushed caravan at John's would be suitable with a little TLC.
As it was difficult to gain easy entry via the door, which was missing anyway, due to the amount of clutter in the way ...............................................................
........... it was decided to go for the easier option through the window at the other end.
The middle window almost removed it's self, just needing a gentle pull and twist, leaving a nice gap for Chris to clamber through.
He thought these doors would make a good base for the mattress which is just out of camera view, AFTER giving it a good bashing to get rid of the wildlife which was probably hiding inside. Chris had already been attacked while he was digging out the Plicken Chucker which used to live in the caravan. He didn't say he was being watched this time but who knows.
After heaving, pulling and pushing one mower out through the window it was decided to leave the other two inside in case Stormin wanted something to keep him occupied during the time when he wasn't scratching tick bites.
After a final inspection of the mowers Chris climbed back out muttering that Stormin should be charged premium rates for his stay in this 5 star luxury accommodation. The alternative would be dossing out in the back of a certain red van.

We need a CHICKEN emoticon on here.

Happy Birthday Alain. Have fun.
-
Happy Birthday Iain. If you are lucky, Joseph might buy you a Bolens.
-
I'll pop it in a jiffy bag and send it up Norm. You can check it out for fit on the Lawnflight.
-
Thanks Alain and Harry. Quick reply's. There were two Murray's at John's, now gone, maybe it came from one of those.
-
Yes, we all know it's a mower deck but what make and what tractor will it fit. Thought it might have been for the Roper tractor but the mounting points are well away from those on the Roper lift arms. Probably 36 to 40". All that have seen it at John's place have drawn a blank.
-
John had 2 or 3. The last one to go was shaft driven. Never did get a good look at the other/s as they were almost buried in a lean to. Went one day when I wasn't there. John also had a Teagle finger mower which was sold before the big clear out started.

Hi, Rod. Dug an Ospray, or a similar model, out from a friends shed last week. Poor condition compared to yours. Not had a really good look at it yet.
-
Good photo's and a nice variety of machinery.
-
Looks brilliant Richard. A glass case job.
-
Happy Birthday Norman. It's your big day today, so you'll get your own way. Or NOT.
-
Needs a few more trips down south to build up the mileage.
-
Joseph. If your dad gives you some of his tractors he will have room to store the next lot he buys. Bet he hasn't thought of that.
-
Happy Birthday Joseph. It's play with the Landy day.
-
That will give the Showman idea's for his Roller from Cromer. The wheels look similar.
-
I need backup. Where are you Chris.
-
RED, white. WHITE, red. Sounds like you are just trying to confuse Joseph. Paint it green to match his overalls.
-
Bit risky showing it off on MoM Iain. The Showman will want it as it's his favourite colour. A little brother for his Sprinter.
-
Chris hasn't enough hair to need a hair brush. Off to ................................................. now.
