    I have found a later photo of the tractor!
     
    After googling "1954 BMB President" one of the pictures led me eventually to VPG 581. Looking at this picture deepened my thoughts as I recognised the location & exhibit number sheet to be the Cuckoo Fayre held in May at Laughton near Lewes, West Sussex.
     
    Another google search "1954 BMB President Cuckoo Fayre" shows it (on my computer) as the 2nd photo. Possibly a SEVAC member now owns it? Photo taken May 2011

                    I just had a look at "Briggs Bits". Entered your model number and a few parts pages are available to view. Had 296824 for the coil (possibly old number) & 29861 for the condensor. 
    Best have a look yourself to confirm.

    It's had a bit of a wash today followed by a spray of diesel to 'enhance' the rust
     
    Todays push / pull vehicle was my Fordson Major, which being dated to 1954 makes it only 10 years newer than the N. Some where in between the two came the E27N Fordson (1945 to 1952).
     
    Unfortunately the O/S/F tyre didn't stay on the bead but did stay on the wheel. Re-positioning the bar got it moving in the right direction but did bend the bar.
     
    The bluey green isn't the correct colour for the N as it should be green throughout (excluding the wheels) but if i can get it running it may be left as is for a while.
    The offside wing was also loosened to allow it to pivot back round into its correct place. Now the drive chain & gears can be seen. 
     
    Having left diesel in the bores to loosen the rings the next job is to fit new front tyres & tubes & possibly strip the carb' to stop it flooding.

    Here's our other Standard Fordson. The orange parts (excluding wheels) date from roughly 1939, the green parts 1942 & the engine from 1945. When we first picked it up it was all green but after a good wash the orange reappeared.
     
    At present the tank & carburettor are off but the new valves are in & compression is lethal. When the head was off i noticed the pistons were stamped 60 thou oversize.
     
    Once i get the manifold & carb back on i'll try & get it running with the water leaks & split block still to do.   The wheels are Major ones, put on to make it mobile but I have the originals.

    The B450 when it was a bit younger.  About 43 years younger. Copied from a partly faded photo.
    My son, having a drive is now coming up to 50. John's land was a lot tidier then.
     

     
    Can't remember where exactly we had been to collect this load, but everything apart from the two
    wheel trailer has recently gone to pastures new. Both trailers were loaded with goodie's.

    Another load went today.  We can see a LOT more of the barn floor now.
     
    Philip and brother in law Terry moved the two lathes out of the barn.  The Raglan
    has now gone to a new home with a fly press press for company.  I missed the
    Raglan being moved due to being busy elsewhere on site.
     
    The other lathe, make unknown, although it looks a bit like a Myford, is now in a
    more accessible spot.  Rusty, but like the Raglan, various area's have cleaned up
    better than expected.
     
    Philip managed to start the International B450 hoping to reverse it out of the barn
    but found the clutch was stuck.  Hardly surprising after about 40 years of rest. 
    Clouds of smoke and fumes which had us all making a rapid exit until it cleared

    The International initially needs a pair of rear tubes & tyres along with possibly & rear axle seal. There appeared to be a
    few small water leaks having put water in but having sat for a long while it isn't to bad. 
     
    The clutch might free up ok but time will tell. After i found only one injector pipe squirting i removed the plate from the side
    of the injector pump. This revealed 3 stuck plungers with one of them being stubborn to shift. After an hour all were free,
    injectors bled & after a bit of heat away it went. There was a panic initially as the throttle lever works the opposite way to
    my Major so as it started & revved i had to hold it on the stop till i worked out why.
     
    Paint wise i think it's had a fresh coat prior to John acquiring it. All good fun, thanks Alan for yours' & Johns help & photos.

    I've been away this week to sunnier climes. Came back to devastation in the garden, flooding and some great pics from my area.
    The storms were massive and there's hundreds of cars, greenhouses and conservatorys smashed up.

    Great photos Alan and a lovely tractor too gone to a good home. The landy is the best vehicle for towing in my opinion; the Bolens a very close second!

    I was going to bring my E1A Major up to do the shifting & loading but my brother in law, Terry, said he'd assist with his Landrover. .
     
    He towed it to it's new place as my van is limited to 2.8ton & i haven't the fogiest of the trailer weight let alone the tractor & winch. It looks safer behind a Landy.

    After approximately 40 plus years of captivity, John's Fordson has made a hasty exit from the barn it called home. The front tire was inflated just before the move, but
    after a few minutes the air inside decided it wanted to escape, and made it's own way out through the tube and sidewall with a loud BANG. What a waste of air.
     
    Much to everyone's surprise, all the wheels rotated, the steering was free, and the move from barn to loading was done in about 25 minutes, via a combination of pulling       and pushing.
     
    It took almost as long strapping it down on the trailer and checking for loose bits that might go awol on the way to it's new home.  Thanks Philip and crew.

    Good evening.
                          Just thought i'd share a few photos of the latest attachment for the Wheelhorse RJ. I believe it's a CBR-32. Its a bit of a squeeze but does clear everything although the snow blade bracket will have to be removed to allow it to lift fully.
     
    My children thought it was ok but were more thrilled wth the trailer

    Thanks to our regular customers, John and I have cleared more of the Bolens Stash, although there were only a few Bolens related items leaving home this time.
     
    First off were a load of various rotavators.

     
    The second load of goodie's disappeared before I could take photo's. 
     
    For some reason, this lathe took a lot longer to extract from the shed and load onto the trailer.  Plenty of time for photo's though.   We all thought Tom had killed the
     hoist when oil started running down the hose.  Turned out to be a slightly loose banjo bolt.  Would have caused MAJOR problems if the hose had split.
     

     
    Chris and his 1886 made light work of moving the lathe up to where the truck was parked.
     

     
    Just about to set off for pastures new after a long and tiring day.
     

     
    John and I would like to thank all involved for, once again, helping to clear more of his collection.   Still lots more to go, but everything Bolens which we could find has now gone, apart from a little ride on mower.  We can now see big holes which weren't there before.   Still more holes to dig though.
