One of the best parts of this story is that you were prepared to help a fellow collector manage to purchase a lovely tractor thousands of miles away & that you are prepared ship it for him.
Documenting its shipping with photos is also really cool .
For those that are considering shipping from USA,How easy do you think the shipping process is ?
My td5 has just clocked 210,000 miles on original engine , still going strong .
Have been contemplating getting shot of her but she just does so well I can't bring myself to let her go , although I would like another 90 or 110 ,
I remember having a second hand tdi engine fitted in my 110 & the bloke that fitted it made a complete pigs ear of putting the engine in and did not clip any of the fuel pipes on so the vibration of the engine broke all the knuckles on the fuel lines so I refused to pay the last three hundred pounds that I owed for fitting the engine . Thus I ended up. Getting acid thrown in my face as a result on my 35 birthday.
Suffice to say I got my own back , but I can't say what I did in case we have a policeman on the forum.
Keep an eye on eBay for a deck or you may find it easier to purchase another running tractor that already has a deck fitted on then use the tractor you have for other deck free duties .
I think you are gonna be quite shocked at the price of a new deck from toro.
The pic above isn't my car but a library pic , I will try & dig out a pic of my old imp . But it is a real good likeness to the one I had , even the same shade of grey.

Welcome back to the den Andy, things not quite the same without your input. Sorry to hear about your farther mate.
That's a wicked find , I did see that on eBay but didn't think the bloke was right when he had it advertised as Wheelhorse blower.
Great find.
