This is not your usual type of machine that you would find in the barn , it's my 1955 Bren Gun ,deactivated of coarse . Also I have some inert pineapple hand grenades .
I used to use the Bren gun 303 machine gun on a regular basis when serving in the Army along with the SLR rifle the Bren is an awesome weapon and very powerful and accurate . This particular one was used by Paratroopers in the Suez conflict as it has the short barrel .
Well done Nigel on acquiring your next Trojan , I wished I could get mine looking that nice , are you still up for restoring mine Nige .
By the way , is that you Nicholas is presenting the tractor too, if it is you , you look great in a skirt . But the blouse doesn't match your eyes darling .
That is an extremely rare model here in UK, congrats on finding it, if you keep an eye open on US eBay quite often panels come up for sale. Most of the panels are interchangeable between models , I notice that the tool box has rotten through and also the hood dash has quite some rust , great if you can repair the hood . I agree this would look awesome if kept original patina . I have a 1961 suburban that is in a similar condition but I intend to keep original patina.
If you pop over to Redsquare you should be able to download a copy of the Kohler manual for and a manual for the 604 .
I would say it's a commando 7 as it has a slot hitch , the 856 has 7 slat holes on the hood front instead of 6 & the light hole is solid on the 856 with just a decal & the steering wheel does not match a commando 8 so I thing it could be a 704 .
i would say it's worth no more that £200tops if that to be honest in its current condition .
Although it's a good tractor ,personally I would keep the Honda and get it repaired or wait for a better wheel horse to turn up
