Will-Haggle got a reaction from nigel in VHGMC Lotmead Working Weekend
On Saturday I attended Lotmead PYO Farm at Wanborough, Swindon. A good turnout of machines but only two ride-on tractors, a Winget and a Gunsmith. More pictures when I've uploaded Shrink-pic!

More photos...
I love that Transit pickup, Mr Showman loved the Fordson 7V tipper (the blue one)
The rotavator with all the implements is a 5hp Norlett that we picked up on Saturday evening from just up the road from the showground...
Also included are some photos from our Saturday evening BBQ.

Will-Haggle got a reaction from Triumph66 in Small Scythe Mower
I saw this machine at the Selwood Rally, Nr Trowbridge, Wilts last weekend. It turns out to be a Cyclo made by Cylinder Developments, this one is a Mk III P as it has a driven wheel, the Mk III H has no drive to the wheels. Engine is a Villiers Mk 2G, 70cc two stroke. Cutter bar is the same as a Merry Tiller, I've posted a picture of my Merry Tiller with it's cutter bar for comparison....

Will-Haggle reacted to expeatfarmer in Ransomes Turf Trac /Steiner
Finally managed to find a Turf Trac, typically I have been looking for a couple of years finally bought one from way down south only to find another for sale on Gumtree at Annan 30 miles away ( lot more money ). This one is fitted with a 4ft front mounted cutting deck. The reason I wanted one was that trying to move a dead crawler from one garage to the workshop was just too much for my ride on mower and using a live crawler just chews up the drive and the garage floor. 16.5hp Kubota three cylinder engine starts and runs well. Hydraulic lift front and rear , front and rear pto. four wheel hydrostatic drive with twin ratio axles 11 miles an hour top speed. Pulls like a train and turns in a 36inch inner circle.
Needs a new seat some decals and a general tidy up. Typical it rained persistently after delivery so limited playing time.

Will-Haggle reacted to rolloman in alive from a really big slumber
Hi guys have been busy today bringing back to life my old simar no3 rototiller which was a complete wreck when i got it , after getting the mag rebuilt repairing the Amal carb and removing plum stones from the fan casing new main bearings were fitted and finally new piston rings After about two pulls it was running just need to make exhaust for it now and weld the hood so I was delighted with that result (happy as pig in sxxxxit ) so here is a picture of the beast hope you like it

Will-Haggle reacted to Wristpin in Briggs Stratton 3 HP cast iron flywheel
I wouldn't worry about it but you but if it bugs you, knock off one opposite. Lots of bunce flywheels about , we used to store a few from wrecked engines and then usually ended up weighing them in!

Will-Haggle reacted to pmackellow in Cyclone push spreader
Not exactly a concours job Nigel but it saved it from the scrapman probably and tidied it up a bit
