Ok, that's brilliant and thanks for the good information and it is surprising to see how much the value is!
My friend has just cleared out a load of engines from an elderly person, I think he has 7 in total. Here is another one to identify which we are unsure about

Hello, a friend of mine has this mini stationary engine, it is not really my sort of thing and I don't know much about it. Can anyone identify it and some sort of value. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Harry

Sure is a nice project, will look forward to seeing the progress, shame about the painted yellow wheels

Bit foam update on the tractor, and some pictures which I have all worked out how to put on, when I first got the machine starting was a little bit iffy and did not run right, I then left it for a while and could not get it to start at all. So I decided to service a few parts on it and sort it out, new engine oil, helicoil in the spark plug thread and spark plug, sorted the recoil, and changed the points and condenser for an ignition module from Mike Hitchens, it all now works and runs sweetly. Next step is to get the plough in the ground

I will sure be there, not sure what I will be bringing yet, may get the D200 sorted by then
-
Yes it does go in reverse, all be it at a snails pace😃
-
Yes, that's the one, an Albion
-
Think it's 1965, the first model they made
-
Just picked this up, nice machine and all works. Even has the bag and the original brochure which I understand is rare. Bag is unfortunately not original but at least it has one. Engine runs a treat and great fun to drive.
-
I agree, something perhaps to do with an MTD
-
Happy Birthday Norm, have a great day🎁😃😃
-
I might be there Chris, probably not with anything though 😢
-
Yes it's certainly odd, when I try to jump it, the starter motor turns but does not engage to the fly wheel, any ideas?
-
I picked this up recently, it is a yazoo rider with a 12.5hp Wisconsin engine. It is a 60" deck and it is the original engine. Quite a quirky thing and I think it dates to the mid 50s. My plan is to get it up and running and keep it in the collection.

I didn't think they were gutbrod, the ones I have have a triangular center and have not seen those type on a gutbrod
-
Happy birthday Andrew, all the best
-
You should stick to tube frames Andrew
-
-
You shouldn't need a puller for the fly wheel, if you knock the recoil but off, then put a pry bar underneath the flywheel and give it a shock with a hammer it should come off.
-
Also a big thank you for Titch at Machinery decals for doing a superb job
-
Another update, virtually finished now apart from the seat but looks good as it is to be honest. Here's a few pictures
-
A very good show overall, organized well by Chris. I really enjoyed the day with meeting everybody and I am sure I can bring some along for next year. Thanks to the other Chris for letting me drive the Mg40, another thing to put on the list .
-
I will be going on Sunday, not taking anything though but can meet you all for the first time.
-
Mine is a 1969 model I think, the only year this model was made? It was orange when I got it and it was the original paint
-
Thanks for that, I shouldn't need any parts for now, it's a lovely little tractor and its tiny!
