    its nine horses, engine that came out was eight horses, and nine horses is more than eight horses so it will pull better cos its got one more horse, i better stop horsing around now its used to pull logs out the woods but i think it needs a lot more weight cos it just spins its wheels engine came of a water pump that had only 2 hours use

    had this bolens in , the briggs lump has been nothing but trouble so we have done an engine swap, it pulls like a train now

  14. well ime doing an engine swap on the 853 next week the briggs thats in it is nothing but trouble so i will start a thread on it soon it might upset some of you purists though
  15. they are on the list it does a very small one but its changing all the time i havent a clue what it will look like in the end, it just depends what turns up in the scrap pile

  17. update we have sussed it and you were all right it was a mechanical fault and a hydrolic fault basicly the connecting rod had dropped out of the piston cos the piston had seized up in the liner, many thanks to every one for your imput
