  1. That looks nice Norm, when the grass grows back, easy to mow and look after.
  2. Hopefully I won't have to split this one Mark
  3. I did the last one in the tractor, that's why I did this before I change it
  4. Pulled all the box apart this morning and its not good, just about all the bearings are shot and knowing the availability of them i think its a junker. Had a look through my stock and found another 3 speed that feels good apart from the attachment pin seized in, Ive had these before and the only way is to cut it off level with the box and drill it out, its to big to fit in the pillar drill so spent the rest of the day abuseing my hand held drill, it's 3/4 rod so the drill got pretty hot, anyway got it out. Here's a couple of photos
  5. Here's two of the grandkids,Lauren's 21 now and James is 18, the photos where taken at Laughton just going into the arena and I've still got the tractor
  6. Had another fiddle with the tranny today, sprayed a load of wd over the selector but it still wouldn't move. Had a rummage under the bench and found another 3 speed with the same problem that i had swapped on another tractor i had, Finally got the pulleys off after a struggle and split the box open, not as bad as I expected, ive got another container somewhere with some gears and selectors in so will have a clean up tomorrow and see what i can muster up. Here's some photos ( Norm )
  7. Happy birthday mate, have a good one
  8. Always nice to see horse's on the ploughing field, like the Farmall in the first photo
  9. If you bought a Wheelhorse from me , you could buy Toms deck , Andrew
  10. It was a good turn out Paul, even got to drive the C160 about a couple of times
  11. It should do Paul, its sat in your shed
  12. Bought 2 small fuel tanks for the ranger twins for £8 and Pam bought a cream separator for a fiver and a enamel jug for £2
  13. Found the magazine today, so here's a couple of photos
  14. I was featured in a national tractor magazine and it was titled The Wheelhorse Showman, so I kept "the showman as my user name
  15. Hav'nt had much chance today to look at it today only that I've removed the seat and rear fender. The gearstick retaining screw was hanging out which I removed and pulled out the stick, the selector is very hard to move so I drained the oil, as expected the first cupful was water so I've left it to drain overnight
  16. The Wheelhorse had no bonnet lock and the chrome thingy was missing, the plug thread in the head had gone, there was no brake band, it didn't run and the fuel tank had a big hole in it I thought it was 50 to 70 quids worth, I stopped bidding at £190 and it sold for £200 plus 7 1/2 % plus vat buyers premium
  17. Thanks Paul for coming along and the photo's, first meet of the year and well supported and it was dry, nice to have the Anglia out and blow the cobwebs out
  18. The C160 is all up and running now so I got it out of the workshop and had a drive round, I have to say its a bit strange to drive and will take a bit of prattice to get the hang of it
  19. Had a chance to unload this today and get it in the workshop on the bench, first job was to charge the battery and put some fuel in the tank, the wiring is all been butchered so had to hotwire it she spun over and fired up, no smoke and no rattle's, there seems to be an issue with the gearstick where as the stick is all floppy and have a job to get any gears,i'll have to investigate that next week
  20. The garden centre open's at 10 Charlie, just going to pop in for a look on my way to Isfield, Pauls meet and greet
