  1. Simon Cole had one with a front loader, don't know if he sold it on or kept it
  2. Just arrived home, freezing cold and soaked through. The Bolens snow blower made £56, the old green mower made £5 the small disc roller made £80 (I think) and the Wheelhorse blade made £60. I bought 2 brand new tyres for the back of my Wheelhorse for £22 so I was well pleased
  3. Found some photos of the one I had. Andrew with the finger mower, and a brochure
  4. As the sun was shining today I thought I'd have a day on the patio. I've been walking round this tractor and pushing it to and fro for a while and can't make up my mind what to do with it. First thing was to bolt all the bits back on to see what was missing, and see if it would run, after a little work and plenty of tea it came together quite well. There's not much left of the wiring loom and it looks like someone has changed the engine, with a couple of bits of wire I got it to spin over and with a squirt of fuel in the carb it fired up. Big cloud of smoke but cleared and now runs nice ( I think the needle valve wants a clean ). The front n/s wheel was wrong so I changed that with one from stock. Next move was to dig into the spares department for a fender, not only found one but had the footrests with it. At the end of the day I've got an up and running tractor that needs a bit of wiring, what do I do now with it ?

  11. . I don't remember ever having one with a broken pedal before . Don't know why they call it a brake pedal, it's more like a neutral pedal
  12. Over the last few weeks I've been looking at the C160, when I collected it, it had been taken apart and came with the bits (ha-ha) having got it in the shed on the bench first thing was a snapped brake pedal, next was the wrong drive belt and a missing return spring and a few bolts and washers missing. The solenoid was laying in the battery tray ??. It's now got the right drive belt and return spring o/s covers and footrest fitted, solenoid fitted and battery cable made, brake pedal welded up and fitted along with footrest and rear fender. It's now up and running on jack stands and working well. Next job is to get it outside and power wash it off and road test. Here's a few photos (Norm) for your enjoyment
