bowtiebutler956 166 #4 Posted January 25, 2014 Love It!! Very neat little scooter, although I think I would want some way of disengaging the engine from the drive. Maybe a clutch? Matt

Ian 2,417 #8 Posted January 25, 2014 That's giving me ideas.. I know someone who has a suitable engine kicking about to build one... Fantastic trike Nigel, good to see a Rover V8 powering it
Stormin 4,458 #10 Posted January 26, 2014 Is that trike running an auto box by any chance? Can't see a gear lever.
Ian 2,417 #11 Posted January 26, 2014 It might be running a manual box Stormin, is that a clutch slave cylinder I see in the last trike photo? Or is the cylinder connected to the pedal? Er....!
pmackellow 2,738 #12 Posted January 26, 2014 Just watched the clip, thats the best use I have seen for a mobility scooter !! If the Showman built one it would probably have a V8 in it... now that would be scary !!
Stormin 4,458 #13 Posted January 26, 2014 And what's the handle for above it? I'd love to see it in the flesh/metal.
nigel 1,877 #14 Posted January 26, 2014 its a borg warner auto box the handle is the kick down (hit it with my knee for as long as i want to keep it in a gear) foot pedal is the brakes 350bhp low loud and fast, handles like a go kart. it was built out of old gas pipe water runs through frame to radiator at the back note the 200mph speedo i never got it over 130mph just could not hold on, but it did want to go faster 1 rotoscytheben reacted to this
