nigel 1,876 #8 Posted January 14, 2020 Ime suprised how small it looks next to the Raider 3 pmackellow, Cub Cadet and Triumph66 reacted to this
Triumph66 1,256 #9 Posted January 14, 2020 It's surprisingly narrow. I believe, like the Cub Cadet, JD made narrow width garden tractors as well as the usual width. Looks in good condition. 1 nigel reacted to this

nigel 1,876 #11 Posted January 17, 2020 This tractor has got to be one of the hardest I’ve every tried to take to bits, it’s a bastard most nuts arnt captive and you just can’t get at them, you unbolt something try to pull it off and then find it’s welded as well, this is going to be very interesting. 🙄 Can’t even get the engine out without dismantling all the body 6 Triumph66, pmackellow, Stormin and 3 others reacted to this

nigel 1,876 #15 Posted February 4, 2020 I’ve had a massive problem with the bonnet I can see why John Deere went to plastic, this one is fibre glass and the gel coat is none existent every time you flat it strands of fibre glass fall out and it leaves a spiderweb pattern and it looks like big grooves in it I’ve flattened and primed it 3 times now But on a brighter note all my powder coating came back and I’ve started to put the deck back together 5 Alan, pmackellow, Stormin and 2 others reacted to this

the showman 4,074 #18 Posted February 4, 2020 When ive worked with fibre-glass cars we had to use a epoxy primer and then a 2 pack special primer for fibre-glass. I can't remember what it was called but I remember it was a lot of work, the rest of it will look nice You'll have to work at the bonnet to match the rest of it. 1 nigel reacted to this
