One 3 speed tranny back together with new needle bearings and oil seals , and the best bit is that it selects all the gears. I'll get the hubs and pulleys back on and back in the tractor tomorrow -

My parts came in, and it runs! I painted the gas tank, lapped the valves, and assembled it. The paint still isn't dry on the gas tank, so I used a jar with some fuel in it to start it. It started on the second try. I didn't run it very long, but once I have the tank back on it, I will. Here are a few pics, and I'll get a video soon. Matt -

Finally got my bearings and seals to day so hopefully get them pressed in the casings tomorrow -
1 pointAfter not having the best of weeks, - My shingles is still causing great pain, and suffering yet another attempted break in at the workshop, I finally had a bit of luck when a college sent me this pack of period brochures free of charge. Going from the dates on them Ive realised my two packs are actually slightly older than I first thought, probably dating from 1985 and 1986.
