Almost done....... One or two little bits left to finish, painting the nut and bolt heads, replacing the cork on the fuel tap, handlebar grips, decals, oh and some oil for the gearboxes. Have ordered a litre of sae140 as specified, EP free of course! Will get a better picture when this flippin rain stops!

    Ransomes MG2 number 137

137 engine is now virtually complete and restored with a new piston, rebuilt clutch ,re cut valve seats, made up an adapter to fit the 12tooth mag timing sprocket and set the ignition timing whilst I had the head off. Starting to look like an engine now instead of a pile of bits. The combination of thread types is a nightmare, UNF,BSF, Whitworth and UNC all on the same engine, I seem to spend hours ratching for the right nut or bolt in my various bins and boxes and failing that have to set to and make them. Just need to machine a set of new head bolts and then basic engine will be finished and sealed before I start on more rubbing down and grinding.

    Lego Land

Having a ball of a time in Lego Land with my wife and kids. A big thank you to Make A Wish charity for sending my little girl on a holiday of a life time.

This machine was missing its depth skid when collected, so using photographs of other machines and some measurements taken at our 'meet n greet' I have reproduced one. This is it 'mocked up' on the bench, painted and then fitted.

Another item from the Honey Hole

Chris caught in action recovering his latest find. Just look at his hands, red raw with the frantic digging. Like a terrier after a rabbit. He also found a small blade attached to a heavy square bar. Both items buried within a few feet of the barn doors. We must have passed them countless times. What next.
