Some nice looking machines there. Thanks for posting.
-
Sure it's not a bean stalk?
-
All the best, Mark. Have a good day. Be loads of presents and a big cake waiting for you at home.
-
I should have thought about the twisting with it working on a screw. We had smaller versions on the oscillator frames where I worked. I'll make an extension as you have and slot it.
The diagrams are all too much for my limited electrical knowledge. But I showed them to my tame ex BT electrickery mate and he understands them.

Started on another mod. Thanks to Doug, (ranger). I now have an electronic actuator and all the gubbins.
The little bush I made, to take out some of the play in the slightly worn and oval eye.
I also got the brackets welded on to mount it as below. Sorry about the poor quality of the photo.
I've made a couple of plates to help stiffen things up as well.
Everything has now had two coats of primer.

I'm thinking of a chain, Doug. That will allow float. Also give some adjustment by using different links.
-
He'll have to get an American highway patrol uniform and helmet. Then he'll really look the part.
-
This could be good. New chassis. Big engine. Wonder how many wheels?
-
-
Any idea of it's age, Koen?
-
I don't think the problem is caused by the petrol. I think Dibnah hit the ail on the head at Newby. Both the C-125 and Black Horse have fuel level caps. The C-125's float guide is spotless. The one on Black Horse was rusty. That is where the grit came from over a period of time. Even though I had given it a going over with emery cloth during the rebuild.

They look, er! Unpainted?
-
Looks a good day for a show. I like the Allen of Oxford roller. Be great for rolling the green and verges.
How many teas and cake you had, depends on how many hours you were there. And the way Steve is looking away from Chris, is a "He's not with me" look.
-
Handbook book arrived yesterday, Paul. Thanks for your trouble. I'll get it over to Dunc sometime this week.
-
They suit the row crop, Chris.
-
-
JEANS! We are getting with it.
-
That's a big lump. And I do mean the engine.
-
Been thinking of doing that with mine. I've got some spare fronts.
-
Are they Wheel Horse front wheels on it, Ian?
-
Somehow I don't think it bent over time, Ian. Could have been what it was asked to carry.
-
I did think of using a drain pipe with a button at the back. With a label saying, "Press to Fire".
-
My workshop walls are full, Ian.
Must admit I am tempted to keep it. It's at Dunc's at the moment.
-
Happy Birthday Old Lad. Have a good day.
-
Nice cars. I've had three Cortinas in the past. 1971 2 ltr estate. 1973 2 ltr saloon and a 1974 2 ltr GT. Nice to drive, comfortable and easy to work on.
