The engine in my WH C-125 had a slightly warped head. Sometime with a mirror, and wet and dry sorted it.

Not the only match that's been cancelled this year due to the wet weather.

The new pound coins have been designed so that you can fit a spanner on them. This facilitates removing them from a Yorkshire man's hand.

Match is cancelled indefinitely at the request of the land owner. Heavy rain Friday night through to this morning has left the ground in a water logged condition. Entry monies will be returned. Let's hope for better weather next year.

Thanks for the info, Richard. Appreciate it. Well it's all in bits now. Had a fight with two of the bolts holding one of the spindle housing. Heads were very corroded and sockets/spanners would not grip. After attacking one with grinder and chisel, it came out. The second one I needed to grind the head off. The bit that stayed in the housing is putting up a fight. Tried to drill it out using a pistol drill. Without success. I think a trip to the farm needed and try some heat. Other wise it's a replacement housing. One of the plastic rear rollers is missing so a replacement for that needs to be found/made. Also the two wheels for the rear height adjustment need replacing. One is more tyre than wheel. The deck shell isn't so bad. Underneath looks worse than it is. Repairs are needed to the left hand side and to the top. I'm going to see if I can get everything grit blasted before I do anything else. So that's it for now.
