  1. If it jogs your memory it's model number is :- 75-42MS. Serial number :- 155310. Made/assembled Amnor. Belgium. So I'm assuming 1975. 42 inch cut. You may chanced across it at Johns place.
  2. Entries for both shows posted today Three tractors and a toe nail trimmer.
  3. Last year I obtained a side discharge deck in need of some T.L.C. Today I got it into the workshop to see what needs to be done to make it usable. Though very rusty, it has only a couple of holes showing and the cutter spindle bearings are free and smooth. One of the rear rollers is also missing. The edges of the belt guard are suffering from tin worm in places and mouse nest and other debris cleaned out when removed. Belt didn't want to come off, as the tensioner was seized. The tensioner pulley was also right up against the nut holding the spring end. I think the belt was a little short. Deck is now mostly stripped down except for a couple of stubborn bolts and a pulley putting up some resistance.
  4. If only I wasn't so far away. Can you bring some up to Newby, Chris?
  5. Got mine and I'll return sometime this week. Three tractors and who knows what else.
  6. A trick I use, but can only be applied to OHV engines after valves have been lapped in and re-assembled, is to pour petrol down the ports. If any dampness appears then I re-do them. If petrol can't get through, neither will gases.
  7. To now be held this coming Sunday. April 2nd.
  8. I think that's a great little machine. Very original concept.
  9. He'll wait for me to go down to assist, Andrew.

  11. All the Best. Have a good day.
  12. I should have said members and it's 40 now.
  13. A new record has been set today. 39 users in 24 hours.
  14. Just had a phone call. Due to heavy rain at the site, match has been cancelled at land owners request.
  15. Despite the rather inclement weather, the ploughing match is still on for tomorrow.
  16. Found a disc but it was to big and no way to fasten it to the frame. Dunc had removed the second share and we fitted a depth wheel to the back. Ploughed better and should be even better in a stubble field. Tomorrow we will see.
  17. Thanks Tam. I'll see if I can find a disc up at the farm.
