looks like a heavy duty apple peeler.
-
Looks like a new one!! good luck at the show with this unit.
-
lokks like a unit made to blow a dry power, I think they called it a duster.
-
Neil, matt lives over 1000mls south of me, he wouldn't know what to do with a day that was 14* below zero, like my Monday morning was. We've had over 40 days of below zero nights here and some days haven't been out of the singles. No tractor work is going on here, due to the cost of heating the sheds.
-
yes excellent job, cant wait to see the whole finished machine.
-
I wondered if you had given any thought to having a sleeve installed in the original engine and putting it back to the standard bore? This would solve the problem of fitting up another engine.
-
fantastic collection, you guy have all the luck with a museum like that and a pretty good man as a host.
-
WOW, I cant even get one over here and you got them rustin away in the hedge row there.
-
real nice looking display!!
-
is that an iron horse sitting there rusting away in the back ground??
-
real nice to see someone plowing with horses. Cool plow also. Thanks for posting it here.
-
yes thanks for taking that time to post the attachments. Tractors of this type are not found over here, more on the smaller scale. My Handiman Tractors would be considered of the largest one found in the states. the steel wheels are 32" tall and other than a couple of items, most things attach to the frame of the tool carriage. You got choices of seedrs, disc, cultivating steels, etc.
-
I see these Iron Horse machine in plowing match photo's all the time. I guess I wonder what other attachments were built for the line, and if there are any pictures of items like a disc, mower or cultivating setups?
-
I don't really go for bikes normally, but that project rocks.
-
"confident" would not be anything lacking on your part, sir. If fact I believe we are all confident that you will dazzle us with another spectacular machine soon.
-
yes im curious as to what you mean?? Briggs engines sold over there are based on the bore and stoke to make the hp. There might have been a time back in the 30's where the rpm's was increase to get more power, but not in anything im aware of since then.
-
I really enjoy seeing those big 2 wheeled tractors working.
-
what vintage is this machine? I like the small round fuel tank.
-
yes Paul that fellow in the first picture holds his tea cup a little odd, I'd be watching him. Good to know the showman is ok??. Havent seen any posts of his adventurous machines lately.
-
We have a saying here, "I have a gun and a shovel, you won't be missed". We seldom have that kind of trouble in my rural area, as the thought of getting shot at keeps most of the low life's away and looking for easier picken's.
-
looks to be working up fine. Apparently your not getting those big rains that England is having .
-
We have some guys here that use this method. I believe that most use a laundry soap, such as Arm&Hammer with the water. I myself find the process pretty slow and prefer to blast with sand or steel shot.
-
Sir you are by far the most complete start to finish restorer I've ever seen. Not only is there a smashing type of every model, but you deliver the whole package with interesting signage and other bits, for appeal to the masses. Your work should be on one of those BBC documentary we get once in a while over here.
-
great to see some non typical use pictures of GT's. Seems like everyone has a working Allen, with a sickle, but seldom is see any pictures of the other attachments.
-
I think it looks to be a sharp looking machine.
